A:Answer I am using it on a Mac 27" (late 2015) and it works great. I am currently using 6 of the 7 ports and leaving the powered port open in case I need it for a device that needs power. I have 2 drives, keyboard, wacom tablet, headphone and chip reader plugged into it. I don't notice any lag on i/o to/from the drives.
