    • Answer We recommend connecting the R-800F to a receiver that supplies close to 150 Watts at 8 Ohms.

    • Answer You will need to feed speaker wire from your receiver's SPEAKER OUT into the speaker's red and black terminals. We suggest 16 AWG speaker wire for runs of 50 feet and under.

    • Answer The Kilpsch 800s are 42 inches or 43 inches with the included feet attached. They are 16 inches deep (Front to back ... with the grills on. They are 9.5 inches wide. Cons: NONE...Perfect fidelity.

    • Answer I use just for music, vinyl specifically. They have a pretty strong bass but I still prefer having the Klipsch subwoofer at -7db. It’s the engine to me and gives live music specifically the depth needed. Klipsch has the proper cross over settings to program the sub so it doesn’t over power. I also raise the treble to +3 on the speakers giving a brighter sound to enhance vocals, piano, and more hidden layered sounds that often go unheard. A center speaker would only be necessary if adding to 2 more in the back for cinema surround. The 2 for music envelope a small to large room very well.

  • QuestionCan these speakers be placed on their sides, or will they function only in upright position?

    • Answer Upright only. While there really isn’t a rule on distance to many, I spaced them on either corner of the room with a 17 foot gap in between. They are angled inward and bounce of the walls and ceiling perfectly to fill the room. I keep the sub in the center although it can be behind or anywhere. But they need to be upright only.

  • QuestionDo these speakers go good with demon dra 800h receiver

    • Answer Not familiar with that one in particular but if you have or can find the specs on it, these speakers can handle 150 watts RMS (continuous) and up to 600 watts peak/max (short burst) and they are rated from 34hz up to 21khz and are 98% efficient at 8 ohms. Hope this helps...
