QuestionAnyone have first hand experience with bi-amping these? Is it worth it, because I can’t imagine the tweeters need that much dedicated power... Debating between bi-amped 5.2.2 vs extra height/surround channels (5.2.4 or maybe 7.2.2) for home theater setup.

- Answer I do not have first-hand experience bi-amping these but I do not see the need to. Like you said, the tweeters do not need enough power to require their own source. Go with elevation speakers; that will be my next purchase.

QuestionWould these speakers be able to handle the power coming from the Denon AVRX2400H?

- Answer Yes with no problem those speakers handle 150 Watts cont. and 600 max, and that receiver puts out 125 a channel. I’ll also say I have those speakers and center and rears and there amazing.

- Answer If your only running a two channel set up, these will pump them out. But, you won’t be able to BiAmp them. You can run 4 cables and slice , Two cables from each speaker wind them into the one R&L output connections on the back of your your amp.

QuestionI have an Onkyo TX-SR608 receiver and want to purchase your Bowers & Wilkins 704 S2 floor speakers, center speaker HTM72 and the ASW610 sub. Will my Onyko receiver be adequate to get the proper sound from these speakers? Thanks in advance Steve

Questiondoes it really need to go to a certain volume to sound its full potential. it is supposed to be clear and lifelike as well as loud. I don't want to blast it

- Answer Absolutely do not need a load of volume thesez are very clean sounding a low volume. ...although I would recommend a klipsch center channel for late nite television at super low volume

QuestionWith 4 wire plugs in the back, how are you supposed to connect this to the Receiver? The manual seems to suggest the top 2, but when I checked at BestBuy they had the bottom 2 hooked up. If I don't use all 4, am I missing out on certain sounds?

- Answer There are 4 post so you can run bi amps. If you only have 1 receive just hook up to 1 set of black and red prongs. There is a piece of metal that was installed at the factory that has both red and both black connected together. If you have 2 amps remove the piece of metal. You can essentially hook 1 amp up to the tweeters and pump out a lot of power through them and hook another amp up to the other set of prongs and power the subs.

QuestionI am building a Klipsch 5.1 system (2 R-28F, R-25, R-25C, R-12SW). I have the 2 R-28F towers & a Yamaha Rx-V681 receiver 90 watts RMS. The receiver does not have preamp outs. Do I need to return this receiver for a stronger one with preamp outputs?

- Answer No you don’t need to return. Klipsch speakers are extremely efficient and and only need 1 watt to reach 90+dB

- Answer Sound is a tricky thing. What is good to me may not be right for you. I would say these are great speakers and tend to sound well with any application. Sometimes you just have to go for it...

- Answer The more watts you are capable of putting out, the better. It's always good to have that extra bit of power instead of wishing you had more.

- Answer In my opinion, yes. They sound phenomenal. They've added the much needed depth and clarity to both my music and movies. I can finally turn movies up and still hear everything with crystal clarity. They don't sound muddy or "woofy" at high volumes. Oh and playing games on Xbox One with these is pure exhilaration (also with 2 subs). I'm going to be bi-amping them soon. I have zero complaints about these speakers and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

QuestionHow do these compare to the KF-28 Klipsch Icon speakers?

- Answer I have owned both Icon and Reference. The Icon is the cheapest line of speakers Klipsch makes. Reference is the next step up built with better materials and better drivers. The sound difference is night and day. Once you hear the Reference you will never go back to Icon.

- Answer You wil need an amplifier to be able to power these bad boys. I curewntly have a yamaha receiver it works good.

- Answer I am using an old onkyo receiver rated at 80 watts continuous power and the speakers get plenty loud. the speakers can handle 150 watts continuous power, but looks like you don't need all that power. These speakers are very efficient.

- Answer The 12" would definitely be enough, but don't p!ss your neighbors off. If your listening area is small you might consider the 10" woofer as well. The sound is great and costs less. These speakers pair with just about anything, just ensure you're pushing enough wattage if you're going to listen at high volume levels. Currently I'm using a cheap Sony receiver and they sound amazing.
