The storage capacity supported is based on the test results with current Lenovo storage offerings. With that being said, theoretically, the system's open M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot should accommodate whatever M.2 storage option you prefer given that it fits within the boundaries of the slot (i.e., an SSD with larger heatsinks may be too large for the slot). This Legion Pro 5 comes with 1x 16GB SO-DIMM DDR5-5200 memory module and it supports up to 32GB DDR5-5200 (max memory is based on the test results with current Lenovo memory offerings), but the chipset may support up to 64GB DDR5. Also, the Legion Pro 5 features two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 storage slots to expand storage, which leaves you one open storage slot right out of the box since this system comes with a 1TB SSD preinstalled.
