  • QuestionThe specs say 16.84 in height. My window is 16"tall. Is there any wiggle room or do you think my window is too short??

The LG LW2421HRSM window air conditioner has a minimum window opening height requirement of 18 inches. Since your window height is 16 inches, there may not be enough wiggle room to accommodate the air conditioner.   • QuestionIn the past,i have covered my window unit in the winter but they did not have electric heater built into them, so if i would want to run heater in the winter time do i have to leave window unit uncovered.

If you have an LG LW2421HRSM window unit with an electric heater and you want to run the heater in the winter, you should not cover the entire unit. The heater needs proper ventilation to operate safely and efficiently. However, you can cover the outside portion of the unit to protect it from the elements, while leaving the top and sides uncovered to allow for proper airflow.
