Q: QuestionWill this model fit/mount on top of an older LG Pedestal Drawer - Model WDP3W 27" x 28.4" x 13.6"
Asked by JBAM.
- A:Answer Yes, the current model is WDP4* is interchangeable. The LG - 27" Laundry Pedestal with Storage Drawer, Model # WDP4* replaced the WDP3* pedestal but they are both designed for compatibility with 27" LG Front Load Washers and Dryers. The only difference between them will be the mounting bracket installation. The WDP4* uses the t-clip installation method. ^Daphane

Q: QuestionThere is a w/d hookup in the apt, is that able to install this w/d? Closet is 31 inches wide.
Asked by Chika.
- A:Answer Are you going to stack the units? It can work if stacked and the recommend clearance can be met for a height of 77-1/2". The washer alone requires a clearance of 27" plus to ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, you should allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer.

Q: QuestionFor your washing machines. What is the difference between models that indicate HBA VS. HWA?
Asked by Anonymous.
This question was asked about the related product: LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with Steam and Built-In Intelligence - Black Steel
- A:Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG Washer . The main difference between LG washing machine models with "HBA" and "HWA" designations is the color and some added features. HBA models come in black stainless steel, while HWA models are white. HBA models have an extra rinse cycle for sensitive skin or allergies, while HWA models have a steam sanitize cycle to get rid of bacteria and allergens. Asked by stefanie.
- A:Answer Not if you follow the proper maintenance like wiping the gasket out after a wash and leaving the door open also remember you only need 1 tablespoon of detergent for a normal load and 2 for full load do not use the cup that it comes with also don't use fabric softener it's made of refined animal fat and will coat the drum

Q: QuestionThe depth of my closet is only 31 inches will I need more room then that to hook up this package.
Asked by Leo.
- A:Answer I just had this washer and matching dryer installed on Friday, January 5, 2024. In measuring the total depth of the washer from the wall behind it, it is approximately 33.5". The top of the washer is only 27" deep, but the additional depth is needed for the water connections (approximately 4") and the washer door, which sticks out about 1 inch from the front of the washer. If your closet is only 31 inches deep, I don't think this washer will fit.

Q: QuestionAny complaints about this product regarding smell or odors and mold buildup at gaskets at door closing?
Asked by Ted.
This question was asked about the related product: LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with Steam and Built-In Intelligence - Black Steel
- A:Answer We never had any issues with the LG front-loader we bought in 2007, which we've now replaced with this unit, probably because we always left the door open after finishing. (And something which I used to do even when I had top loaders, because it just made sense to me to let the moisture evaporate.) We've only had this one a few weeks now, but I'm not expecting any problems. Because some people did seem to have odor issues with earlier front-loader models, there are certainly more extensive instructions for ensuring it doesn't happen.

Q: QuestionHow does this differ from the 3900 model? (LG WM3900HWA)
Asked by Susan.
- A:Answer I asked LG the same thing and they said, "1. The WM4000HWA has 12 available wash programs while the WM3900HWA has 14. 2. The WM4000HWA has 13 wash options while the WM3900HWA has 12. 3. The WM4000HWA has a Tempered Glass Door Cover while the WM3900HWA has Dark Blue Tinted Round Door Cover" Another thing that is different is the trim is a subtle rose gold color on the 4000 rather than the silver on the 3900

Q: QuestionDoes this model have a drum light? I don't think it does which is a huge disappointment.
Asked by SpruceGoose.
- A:Answer I didn’t notice until I saw this question posed but sadly it does not have a light. However the door opens wide and it’s a very large drum so the room light is sufficient.
