QuestionLooking at the LG C7 or E7 OLED sets and since I have a Bose soundbar should I just stay with the C7 or does the built in speaker on the E7 sound as good or better than the Bose?

- Answer I purchased the C7 and was initially satisfied with the sound. The sound settings had several options that could help you shape the sound you want. That being said, I later purchased a Bose sound bar. I’ve always liked the sound produced by Bose. The Bose sound bar has a dialogue switch that helps make dialogue clearer. I also never really crank up the sound as I live in an apartment and respect my neighbors. The sound is very satisfying and combined with a great TV, watching is enjoyable.

QuestionWhen will the 2018 oleds from Sony come out? What will be the differences? Thanks

- Answer Did you mean LG since this is an LG OLED? Whether you meant Sony or LG, it's just too early to ask that question. The only way we'll know the differences is when they announce new features for 2018 and that probably won't happen until...wait for it...2018. One thing they probably will have though since they just announced the spec being finalized, is HDMI 2.1. Google it to learn more. Sony's 2017 OLED's came out around June I believe and LG's OLED models came out around March and April so we should expect similar release dates for next year.

QuestionWith the low placement of the VESA holes on this TV, I've been struggling to find a reasonably priced full motion wall mount. I need at least 24 inches of extension. I hate to pay $400+ for a needlessly hefty mount. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

- Answer Hello Ross, the OLED55C7P is the newest in the line of OLED TV's and has features that reduce and prevent image retention. As the consumer, you of course have the option to turn them off, but the TV will warn you of what the feature is there for. ^AC

QuestionWhy is the volume so low on this TV. I have it up to 40 and the sound level seems low to me. Does it hurt the TV to increase the volume to 50 or 60. Seems a bit low to me unless the dynamic range is in a sound theater mode.

- Answer No burn in issues with the new 3.0 os vs the older 2.0 os. Unlike the first generation oled there is now a screen refresh feature in the option settings. Applications are quite small in size and can load tons of apps.

- Answer I have had mine for about a month I use the Apple TV 4k, Nvidia Shield, PS4 and Fire TV with no lip sync issues. I believe the issue with pixel burning has been addressed with this model thanks to the OLED panel setting. I returned the set I originally purchased in favor for this one I have to say I have been very pleased I did have an issue with itoons and google play not playing sound but a quick call to LG fixed that with a few changes in the settings.

- Answer The built in speakers are the most often criticized feature of this TV. Yes, it would be wise to purchase either a soundbar or surround sound system.

QuestionMy lg 55" oled c7 series has permanently burned in the entire CNN picture. I used all the tools to try and avoid this but it has never gone away. I have a Samsung 55 plasma from 2011 that still works and no burn in. help! i've always had total tech, etc

- Answer This may or may not help based on what model of iPhone you have. I have an Ipad. I bought an adapter that goes from the only port it has, the one I charge it thru. The adapter converts that port size to hdmi which I plug into an hdmi port on my oled tv and stream.
