A:AnswerI recommend first trying following up with Best Buy regarding the installation. From what I have read in the Owner's Manual it does not mention a plug needing to be removed. Please refer to page 20 of the Owner's Manual regarding installation of the inlet hose. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. ^Daphane
A:AnswerIt really just depends on the required length to complete the connection. You'll wanna be mindful of installation guidelines for your washer as it relates to the length of the water hose. A:AnswerUse only 4-inch (10.2 cm) rigid, semi-rigid or flexible metal ductwork inside the dryer cabinet and for venting outside. The dryer has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). Electrical service for the dryer should be of the maximum rate voltage listed on the nameplate. Do not connect the dryer to 110, 115, or 120-volt circuit. ^Daphane

A:AnswerI'm surprised at the answer here. I feel best buy could have looked into this question. Maybe ask the manufacturer? We all know these are all made by whirlpool and the Lg and Kenmore models look identical and have the same identical parts. I'd say that you could mount them together.
A:AnswerThis dryer needs a standard 4 prong dryer plug. I think some older 4 prong plugs were configured differently, so I suggest a new plug. The outlet location can be just about anywhere behind the dryer, but I would stay above one foot from the floor, as the cord is very stiff and would be difficult to bend to fit a low outlet. Mine is probably 2 1/2 feet from the floor. The dryer will push back against the plug to a distance of about 2 1/2 inches from the wall. I hope this helps.
