QuestionDoes LG have the installation software online?My C Drive on my laptop no longer works and cannot read discs (hence why I need a new one). Does this device need a CD to install the drive or can that be found on LG's website?

- Answer It should be just a quick download from LG's site. But as far as I know the software will install itself when you plug in the drive.

- Answer I wouldn't recommend trying it unless you have a lot of CDs to use - the unit I got would work until about halfway through and then just stop for no reason.

- Answer First, try new or a known working USB cable. If not, you may need to Use the power connector in conjunction with the USB cable. Hope this helps...
