- Answer Hello, the M170 can work with your Macbook Pro via USB-A port, if your Macbook Pro does not have USB A then you would need a USB C to USB A adapter.

- Answer I also have two children working in close proximity. Each mouse has its own receiver so the mouse will ONLY work with its specified receiver in whichever laptop it is plugged into. There are definitely no worries there. Hope this helps!
