It has both Bluetooth and Logitech proprietary and USB connectivity. I was initially using BT but link was not being maintained after wake up from sleep. Tried setting power to stay on during sleep but no luck so just switched to dongle. You have three connections that are selected with a switch on the bottom of the mouse that can be either BT or proprietary.

I am recommending this to my co-workers. I have been using this for everyday at my job and only have charged up that mouse one time in the past3 weeks
