• A:Answer Most of our new models have a discrete Phono input to use with a turntable that doesn't have its own built in pre-amp or EQ. If not, you can use any analog input on the AVR along with an external Phono pre-amp in between the turntable and AVR.

• A:Answer I'm pretty sure the question was meant to read, is this receiver "compatible" with a Samsung Ultra 4K TV. I have an older version of this Marantz receiver connected to my Samsung 65 inch HDTV which has works just fine. I would not expect most receivers to have that kind of problem connecting to most HDTV. You will be fine. Been happy with mine and going from having an old big honking workhorse Denon receiver, I've been so much happier with it occupying a much smaller footprint.

Q: QuestionWhat is the main differences between the Marantz NR1510 and the Marantz NR 1200. I will be using two JBL 3 way speakers rated at 8 Ohms. I will also be attaching a Blueray DVD player and a turntable along with a Sony Smart TV.Which receiver would be best?

• A:Answer The NR1200 is a stereo receiver, whereas the NR1510 is a surround sound receiver. If you are only planning on using two speakers (and maybe adding a sub-woofer at some point) for the sound delivery in your room, the NR1200 is the model to consider. The NR1510 is the one to choose if you will be using surround speakers with your front left, right and center speakers at any point. This is often the obvious choice for a movie enthusiast. Either model will work great for movies and music, it all depends on how many speakers will be used in that room.
