• A:Answer you need to get the send and receive units on the same AC "hot" line. try plugging one or the other into different outlets which are on different circuits and see if you get a better connection.

• A:Answer if your shop power comes in on a separate power line from the pole no it will not work. if you shop is on a sub panel from your house yes it will work however you must make sure the sending and receiving units are connected to the same AC "hot" line

• A:Answer it should automatically come out of power save mode when both send and receive units are plugged in, the send unit is connected to the internet through an ethernet cable, the receive unit is connected to a computer through and ethernet cable, and you start to access the internet with the computer, other wise it remains in power save mode
