“if using this cart as directed does this mean you should not move it from room to room or should you hold onto the tv and cat while moving the tv unit. Large flat screen tvs do have a tendency to wobble on the stand; Is this true for a 50" t.v.?”

I have a 55" mounted and don't experience any "wobble" of the TV. When moving around you just need to be cautious when transitioning across threshold's or uneven surfaces. Othwise unit is very stable if installed properly.
