- Answer Should work with any wired system. If these blow then you are playing too loud.

Questioni have and rca receiver and an advent subwoofer the receiver has plugs for 4 speakers but none for a subwoofer it has jacks for turntable and for cd player can i make it work

- Answer If your subwoofer has "speaker level" inputs (most do) then yes you can. Essentially it would go: receiver-->subwoofer-->speakers. Then you would adjust the crossover and volume knobs on the subwoofer to blend the sound with your main speakers to your liking. Don't mix different speaker wire, run the same brand and thickness from the receiver to the subwoofer to the speakers.

QuestionI’m new to buying a turntable I bought the audio technica at-lp60x & I also these Polk speakers I’m reading the q&a’s about getting an amplifier? Again no idea .Can anyone help me understand what kind of amplifier to purchase & also do I need a wire?

- Answer just purchase a mid priced receiver from best buy . something like a pioneer, onkyo, lower end denon at best buy sound system store. ask questions. do not be embarassed to ask. around $250 350 will get you something new stay within budget and purchase the extra warranty it paid off for me when my tv fried.they gave me full credit and i got a new better tv.

- Answer These speakers have binding posts for use with speaker wire from an amplifier, RCA cables will not work.

- Answer No. You need to find a pair of powered speakers, such as Edifier, if you're looking for "hi fi" speakers. They often have bluetooth also, so no wires required. Otherwise, there are many reasonably priced, good quality, desktop computer speakers that will probably work.

- Answer 16 should be fine. I'm using 14 gauge. If your using banana plugs then what ever fits in them.
