A:Answer i have xs 1000 witch is 7 amp hr, and the xs1500 is the 9 amp hr. i would assume, you could use a 123,or124 the hook ups are the same, and they are the same size. of course the 124 will give a little more down time. i did not test this because mine went out at different times this is only my assumption.
