QuestionI’ve had the headset for a while and it’s been great. But today when I turned it on and it would not connect. I have never had this problem before. How can I fix this?

QuestionFor some reason i can can never get game chat to work ,on any of my headsets ,so I purchased a rig 500 pro and thought it would work ,is there something i am doing wrong ,i hooked it up i can here the tv through it but it doesn’t let me talk..please help

QuestionWhy is in game sound being picked up through my mic when it is muted? I mute my mic and try to speak and make all the loud noise I can and nothin gets through, but loud instances in game will channel through and go to party chat in my friends headsets.

QuestionI have recently purchased the Rig 500 Pro, installed the Dolby Atmos software and Dolby Access, entered key and everything was succesful. But there is no sound coming out of the headphones at all. I've updated sound drivers & Checked everything else.

We also recommend testing the headset with a different controller to completely isolate the issue. - Answer Hello! We are sorry to hear you are having some issues. Please note this model of headset will work with any device that supports a single 3.5 mm jack. Please first make sure your PC counts with a single 3.5 mm jack and not a dual (for speaker and mic). If your PC counts with two jacks, then you will need to get an adapter from dual to single. If your PC does count with a single jack, you can simply plug the headset into your PC and you should be able to hear audio. - Answer I have an Xbox One and these headsets for some reason only work with a “stereo” headset audio adapter that attaches to the controller. I had a set of turtle beach that came with one and they also only worked with the audio adapter.

QuestionWe bought this because we needed something that could go between the Xbox one and PC and the box said "Xbox One & Windows 10" but it doesn't include an adapter to split the audio and mic so it doesn't actually work with the PC. Why is Windows 10 touted?

- Answer The microphone has a flip-to-mute feature where it is muted when standing straight up. You might try flipping it all the way up then all the way back down until it ‘clicks’ into place. If that doesn’t work, make sure that your headset is plugged all the way into your controller. Hope one of those suggestions helps.

- Answer Hi Sillygoose13, Here are a few things you can try: • RIG 500 PRO HX has a flip-to-mute microphone- all the way down and the mic is active; flipped all the way up and the mic is on mute; When using the mic, it should be positioned near the corner of your mouth. • RIG 500 PRO HX comes with the XBox sleeve pre-installed on the RIG audio dial; if gaming on PS4, switch to the included PS4 sleeve that was in the box; if gaming on PC with a single port for speaker/mic, remove the sleeves all together so that the audio plug fully inserts. • Always check the connections of your headset to your host device, PC or console. Also check the cable connection to your headset earcups. Make sure both are pushed all the way in. • Make sure the inline volume control on your headset is set to a proper level. The RIG audio dial turned fully clockwise locks in to max volume. • If you prefer to use the volume control on your PC or console mixer, then you can lock your headset inline to the highest level by sliding or rotating to the maximum setting until it clicks. • Check that your chat application volume level is set to the proper level. • If you use game/chat balance, make sure you set your external device or software application to the right mix of both game and chat levels. - Answer The top dial on the left side of the headset controls the party/game volume. Make sure the dial is all the way down. If it is, move the dial up and you should hear game audio.

- Answer i have the Bluetooth rig 750 but they just randomly stop working so i have had to go back to my old wired rig 500 i am a very big gamer and i have never had this happen to me before all i did was pull the cord out out of my remote and it just broke thats it thats all i did i have not been ale to find a replacement cable anywhere

- Answer Hi seren, Please check out our RIG Wired Headset Setup video for XBox on YouTube on the RIG Gaming channel. Make sure the audio cable is fully inserted on the headset end. On the controller end with the RIG audio dial, the RIG 500 PRO HX comes with the XBox controller sleeve pre-installed. If you are gaming on PS4/PS5, switch it out for the PS sleeve that was included in the box. Make sure that sleeve is fully seated and pushed in all the way into the controller 3.5mm audio port. QuestionI just got the rig 500 headset but when i move the microphone up so ppl cant hear me talk it still is working and ppl can hear me ive unpluged it checked all plugs and checked the microphone itself i cant figure it out

- Answer I have the same issue; can't find any answers online. The headset mutes on any other app (Discord, YouTube, etc.) except for Zoom. Does not mute when the mic is up so I have to manually mute/unmute during meetings.
