The Range Extender can be placed up to 250 feet from the Base Station. It will reach Alarm devices up to 250 feet away, in an unobstructed environment. Coverage may vary depending on the layout and construction of your home or business.     • Answer Hello Les, Ring Alarm Contact Sensors are designed to keep doors and windows in homes and businesses secure. The Contact Sensor is made up of two parts - the Sensor and the Magnet. Slide the Contact Sensor off of the back cover which is mounted on the wall. Remove the batteries and insert the new batteries. Replace the Sensor onto the cover.     • Answer is very long. like 6 feet. Camera ideal height placement is from 4 to 6 feet to capture facial features. If you place it too high it may not see facial features. It also mounts on the wall
