- Answer Hi LouBoy, Good question! Yes, the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 is compatible with networks broadcasting a 802.11 b/g/n wifi connection @2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. So if you chose to set up your two devices on different network frequencies that would be possible, but not required by any means. Ring devices use only a few Mbps of upload speed bandwidth, so depending on your internet package, you can sync numerous Ring devices to one home network or frequency/channel without disruptions. - Answer There is no battery option for the video doorbell pro 2 however, you can buy an adapter the connects your doorbell directly to a typical power outlet. The Ring adapter is sold separately and the newly released version 2 of the adapter is made specifically for the video doorbell pro 2.

- Answer Yes. I had no issues. You may want to try using your phone to set up the device while turning off your cellular. Also, if you have some security protocols through the internet it may be blocking it. For example I have eero mesh network and the security protocols block many links and sites. Hope this helps.
