A:AnswerIf you connect the laptop to a 1080p panel, the picture will be upconverted to 1080p regadless of the incoming resolution. It's better to send a high resolution to the television if you can, but all inputs will up upconverted to 1080p.
If you are using a television, however, not all televisions will support as many resolution as computer monitors. So your 1366x768 may not be supported, meaning that you'd have to use a 720 or 1080 resolution option in your computer's graphics card settings.

A:AnswerI just bought this laptop and I'm not impressed with the NVidia GPU. I don't have the exact specs on what this one is but here's a chart with all the NVidia GPU's:

I had to turn game graphic settings down to "medium" in order to get a decent frame rate when running at 1600x900 res. If you're a gamer and can afford an extra $200 I suggest getting the MSI Gaming Laptop with NVidia GTX660. It's thicker but has the same weight.
