A:AnswerIt sounds like your issue lies with Verizon considering you have sound when you watch DVDs. You're ahead of the curve (pun intended) on the 4K technology and many services/providers don't have that capability yet, but it's coming.
To get a better sound, I recommend getting a sound bar no matter what. You just spent a couple thousand on a super nice TV, I recommend getting the sound bar to get the best audio available. TVs nowadays are not built for quality sound.
A:AnswerDefinitely get a tilt. I would also recommend getting a swinging mount since you won't be able to take the TV down by yourself. If you do make sure your cables are all long enough to stay connected when you swing out the mount.
A:AnswerMy guess is that, mwith the right connection--WiFi, USB, or HDMI, you can, using the Source selection on the remote. But you can probably get a definite answer from Best Buy.
A:AnswerI have a dirctv mini set up in the bedroom and everything that you watch on the primary tv can be watched on secondary tv, no extra cables, but you need the directv remote to control your viewing capabilities.
A:AnswerHow do you define "all functions"? I actually use the AT&T U-Verse remote for all broadcast TV watching; I use the Smart remote only foe Nerflix, Amazon,,etc. I suggest you ask either Best Buy or DirectTV.
A:AnswerYou don't HAVE to have a sounder, BUT I suggest one. Most, if not all of these flat screens are so thin, you lose sound especially bass and midrange...
A:AnswerSorry, I don't know ... and wish I'd thought to ask. I suggest you ask a Best Buy sales consultant or someone in the Geek Squad.. They probably know.
A:AnswerWe have surround sound but for the first month we did not have it hooked up and the sound was great compared to similar models. Our is wall mounted.
A:AnswerJust drop down from the photo of the TV you are viewing at BestBuy.com and look for Product Specifications. We were able to load it in the back of a 2003 Honda CRV with back seats folded down.
A:AnswerThe actual stand is small--only 32" wide. Maybe 5" deep, centered on the TV.
NOTE: these measurements are estimates. I did not go get a tape or ruler for exact size. This is close enough to tell you what you want to know.
A:AnswerThere is no difference in watching a non-3D program on a 3D TV. It will display in 2D unless you have 2D to 3D conversion. The same goes for DVDs and Blurays.
