- Answer It sounds like the SSD may be the same or smaller than the one you are replacing. Could be too much data to transfer to SSD and fills up prior to completing the file transfer. If the SSD is larger than the original HD, it's possible the SSD is not formatted for the full capacity available.

- Answer I am relatively confident that you do not need a special bracket. You should be able to use the existing bracket and mounting screws. You will need an adapter if you want to transfer files to this. Who’re installation.

QuestionWill This install into Samsung RV515? I do not know if it had SATA. Would this be an improvement over factory hard drive, or better to just cent replacement hard drive? I plan to expand memory as well, but not sure where to go on that either.

- Answer You do have SATA on that model. But that is real old and the CPU is slow and your memory wont handle Windows 10 with any speed. Price out a newer laptop and then ask yourself if it is worth patching the old Laptop up or going for more reliability and speed.

- Answer Yes I have the same laptop any ssd will work in that laptop. You can just add it to the empty bay it has. I added a 16gb stick of ram into mine also.

- Answer It will fit.. there is a foil enclosure over the original hdd that you can gently take off and put over the ssd to help hold it in place

- Answer I’m pretty sure chrome books have flash memory and not a hard drive. What you might be looking for is a external hard drive or flash drive if you are trying to save things to it.

- Answer You will most like need a adapter to hold it in place if it’s a 3.5. If it’s a 2.5 in bay you might be able to use whatever secured the hdd in place originally.

- Answer Your unit is: SSD / SATA 6.0Gb/s, 2.5" wide, 7mm high, removable, upgradable This drive is SATA and 2.5" so you should be able to replace existing HD with no problems. Be cautious, the upgrade may be more technical than your capabilities if your asking this type of question. May require a USB cable with SATA interface to hook up the new device to do the data transfer prior to installing in laptop.

- Answer It will definitely make a old computer seem faster than it ever was. This just depends how fast the processor is. I put one in a old all in one hp from like 2011 and it has a i3 and is running decently enough to run Roblox and Minecraft. I also did a toshiba satellite and it moves a lot faster and I added more ram but the processor can only handle so much on that one and easily goes to 98%. So if it has a ok processor and works ok already it will get the fast boot and fast shutdown and faster load times for sure.

- Answer My guess is it will fit. I put this in my MacBook Pro 13” mid 2012, took me less than 30 minutes and fits perfectly. If I’m not wrong, the insides of the 2010 and 2012 are pretty much the same and haven’t change much. A lil research to be extra sure should clear all doubts though.
