A:AnswerYou dump the excess water from the wash bin into the actual washer. The washer is powered on when using the active wash system so when it powers down, it automatically drains the remaining water left in the tub so no standing water is remaining. A very sanitary function!
A:AnswerHi StarMan,
Samsung's WA52J8700AP and other HE Top Loaders use about 18-21 gallons of water per cycle, and include automatic weight sensors to ensure the appropriate water level for cleaning every size load, including comforters. The AquaJet Deep Clean option on this cycle provides additional water to saturate items from above during both the wash and rinse phases of the cycle.

A:AnswerYes, the WA52J8700AW and other Samsung Washers can be paused to add a garment after the cycle has started.

A:AnswerI have not had this problem, I would call and have them send someone out. We also got the dryer and that came defective, real loud like it was hitting something or a zipper/lose change noise. Drove me nuts on the first use, called they sent out repair, was said to be unfix-able, got a new replacement and now happy.
A:AnswerHi Mike,
The model that's most similar to the WA52J8700AP without the built-in ActiveWash sink is the 4.8 cu ft WA48H7400 with AquaJet.

A:AnswerThanks for your question. The WA52J8700AP features weight sensors that automatically detect the size of the load and set the water level accordingly, so there's no need for manual load size settings.

A:AnswerWhen installed correctly, the water jet that fills the ActiveWash basin is designed to supply cold water only.
Thanks for the question,
Ms. Samsung
A:AnswerHi Gogo,
You can install the WA52J8700AP with only the cold water hose attached by inserting the water intake cap into the hot water supply intake hole and selecting the Tap Cold option for the water temperature. Please note, however, that the internal water heater is not designed to compensate for a lack of hot water; it's intended to boost the hot water temperature to over 150°F when Sanitize is selected.

A:AnswerDo you use the self clean feature when it notifies you to do so? Also as with any and all high efficiency washing machines you HAVE to leave the lid open when not in use. Also, there is a a cleaner you can buy at most grocery stores for washing machines that will disinfect it for you asweet well.
A:AnswerI'm sorry to hear you seem to be having an issue with your WA52J8700AP. It isn't clear from your question what exactly you're experiencing, so I would suggest calling 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether the issue can be addressed with basic troubleshooting or if service will be required to fix it.
Thank you,
Ms. Samsung
