A:Answer If it's anything like other Samsung displays I've owned. The screen will flicker when you reduce the backlight setting to be very dim. It's not visible to the eye, but some people are sensitive to it. Though if you go to a white background, and take your phone camera to screen. You'll see black lines flickering.
