- Answer NO! This thing does not hold a charge longer than a day. It will give an accurate location, but you'll have to take a risk of a dead battery!! Not worth the money!!

- Answer This should work for you, the initial "setup" is the most difficult in which you have to setup the "Home" zone, and it will alert you (via the app) that the device has left the zone. You will want to charge the device every few days.

- Answer The device uses the LTE cellular network. You can be anywhere in the world and leave it here in the US and you can still track it. Assuming the battery is still charged.

QuestionDoes your tracker turn off automatically after a certain number of days when it is not moving even if it is plugged in?

- Answer Yes. Mine automatically turns off in the scenario you described. I put mine in my car, and I have it plugged into a portable charger. The only way that I have found as a workaround is to have the tracker automatically send you its location every 3 hours. That setting should be in the Samsung Smart Things app.

QuestionCan power be permanently connected to it? I have a USB plug with always power on in my vehicle. If I connected this tracker to that power source, would it always be on and available for tracking?

- Answer Yes. I have it plugged to a portable charger, which doubles the battery life. However, the device does go to sleep after a period of inactivity, and never wakes ups, unless the physical button is pressed (which defeats the purpose of it being used to track a stolen car). You do need to go into the Smart Things app settings to disable Power Saving Mode, and have itself report its location every 3 hours. I have seen a lot of complaints by customers, so hopefully Samsung addresses this in a future software update.

QuestionCan you turn this device On and Off using the App to save Battery life? or Do you have to Physically have the device? ALSO!! Do you have to have a separate device as a "HUB" to work through? or just this device and your smartphone?

- Answer I would not attach to a wristband as it's not flat and might get hit and lost. You might use velcro or other tape to make a necklace but it will have to be recharged every few days depending on how often you have it set to send a signal.

QuestionTwo quick questions. Is the lanyard long enough to fit around a man's neck? He won't remember to put it on but if I could put it around his neck he won't leave without it. Is it water proof. Can he shower in it?

- Answer No, the cord is not long enough to fit on a man's neck and also this is not waterproof, it's just water resistant.

- Answer The first year of service with AT&T is included, and is $50 a year thereafter. I do not believe it can be activated on another carrier, although I could be wrong, and if so I would imagine T-Mobile would be compatible inasmuch as it is a GSM carrier like AT&T. However I doubt you would find an equivalent monthly plan cheaper than $50 annually. Given SmartThings propensity to want devices configured just so, I doubt there would be any net practical advantage to switching the carrier on the device.

QuestionI have a quad that I would put this on. Is it heavy? What app does it use? Can I use with an IPhone? Is it worth it? There was a few of my sons friends who go there quads stolen right in front of there house so I need to make sure it’s safe

- Answer I bought this for exact same reason. I even bought a adapter from amazon so I could hardwire it to my ATV. So I did hardwire it to wires where it only takes power if the key is in ON position. But the problem is once battery dies and you reconnect it to power supply you physically have to press the button on the unit for it to turn on. So it's basically useless to me unless I want to track it for couple of days only .
