A:AnswerYes any Xbox model transfer data or external storage up to the Xbox one X not series im afraid they do make one just for the series S/X that can be used that way but just to transfer data you can on ANY xbox model reason series S/X have a very fast processor so you have to save your old data to the system itself and buy a series S/X external device to use it as you would the Xbox hard drive itself hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes and No.
Yes because you wont have to uninstall and reinstall old games anymore, and no it wont increase the speed of your updates. MW is just a huge game that also compelled me to buy this product as their updates are ridiculously large.
I couldn't tell a significant difference, but as an external harddrive connected via USB it is technically slower. I wish I bought one sooner and I hope it works with the new Xbox.
In short ; Games installed on your xbox will load faster but not the update process.
A:AnswerI’m not 100% sure, but I would think you could just set the new drive to your default drive and everything would work, Unless the internal drive is used for other thing in the system.
A:AnswerNo, It’s a hard drive so it just gives you space on your Xbox but if you want to record gameplay I suggest you get an Elgato or use the twitch trick on Xbox
