• A:Answer The Geek Squad team member installed the app on my cellphone since I had the basic Nest Thermostat. He told me if it was a Learning Nest Thermostat that it would run on the Nest app. I would consult Geek Squad.

Q: QuestionI purchased two of the Honeywell RTH9585WF Home thermostats earlier this year and had Best Buy install them. This week they have begun displaying an error stating the thermostat needs to be replaced ( on both units )...any ideas?

Q: QuestionDoes the smart thermostat install apply to any smart thermostat you offer. When looking through options to buy, some products have an option saying have product installed and some don't by product description, although option is available to add elsewhere

• A:Answer I asked about that when they arrived. They said it would be no problem before removing the old thermostat. Once they started to remove tube old thermostat they told me there would be no problem. My writing was fine but I needed an extra control write to be run for full functionality. That turned out to be very simple. They were in and out in less than an hour.

Q: QuestionI need an Ecobee3 Lite installed with our 2-wire heat-only boiler. Ecobee support recommended I use an external transformer (we can provide) to power the system. Would this type of project be covered by this service?
