A:AnswerHi Chris09,
Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Compared with the kit lens, the SEL50F18/B should give you more dramatic images as it's 1.8 aperture can produce beautiful bokeh.

A:AnswerHi, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The lens is fully compatible with the camera but it does use only the APS-C size of the sensor, however for 60MP setting we would recommend using a full frame version of the lens (SEL50F18F) instead. Thank you so much for your question. And thank you for choosing Sony. For any questions or concerns, you can reach us at 239-245-6360. - Pakorn (Sony Social Support)
A:AnswerHi JustVlog, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The lens focal length for talking head videos we recommend would be ranging from 11mm to 35mm. You can still use 50mm but since it is an APSC sensor camera the focal length will become 75mm which you would need a lot of room between the camera and the subject to be in frame. Thank you so much for your question. And thank you for choosing Sony. For any questions or concerns, you can reach us at 239-245-6360. - Pakorn (Sony Social Support)

A:AnswerHi Teal,
Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Thank you for your interest on our SEL50F18 lens. Yes, this lens is compatible with our ILCE7M4 camera. However, the angle of view will be narrower down to that of APS-C size.
If there is anything specific you would like to share or know about, feel free to contact us at 239-245-6360.

A:AnswerHi Mabi, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The lens is compatible with the Sony Alpha A7R3 however, the lens is originally designed for an APS-C sensor cameras like the A6xxx series so when you use this on a full frame camera like the A7R3 the field of view for 50mm lens will become (50x1.5) = 75mm lens. If you are looking for a true 50mm lens designed for full frame camera we recommend this model : SEL50F18F
A:AnswerHi Marie, the lens is compatible with the Sony Alpha A6300 but please note : Fast Hybrid AF is available with the lens system software Ver.02 or later.
A:AnswerI believe it’s ok. That’s part of why I got it. Depending on size of the family and space you have. I use it more as a headshot photo lens. Just my use though.
A:AnswerYes it will. I use it on my 6400. It's sharp as nobody's business and paired with the 6400's autofocus, you're going to love it. ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND, on the 6400 it's going to act like a 75mm, not a 50mm. I do cafe and food photography and it's an amazing lens for it, but I really have to step away from the coffee cup to get the shot since it's so "zoomed" in. But if you're comfortable getting like 10 feet away from whatever you're shooting, then you'll love it.
A:AnswerIt has to be an E mount type lens. Or camera. I don’t believe the Sony a58 is an e mount camera. However I’m sure you could find a lens adapter for it but then you’re probably spending more then you’d like.
A:AnswerI would say this is not the best lens for landscape photography, but it definitely can be, but you might not get the shots you want. The 50mm is better for portrait photography. If you are looking for a prime lens that would be good for landscape photography, I would suggest the 35mm. To be very honest, if you don’t have a lot of money, the kit lens can definitely do the trick too at a more reasonable price if you can afford the other Sony lens.
