- Answer Hi tommyboi, thanks for your inquiry. We do not recommend using any third-party accessory to boost the signal of the unit as we cannot guarantee its operation. As a suggestion, please follow the steps below to ensure optimal signal reception. • Extend and adjust the position of the FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception conditions are good. • Place the FM wire antenna (aerial) near a window. • Position the FM wire antenna (aerial) as horizontally as possible. - Answer Hi Dlala, Thanks for your inquiry. An equalizer needs to be connected to the tape monitor loop on an AV receiver in order to operate. The current line of Sony receivers does not have a tape monitor loop. For this reason, it is not possible to connect an add-on equalizer to current Sony AV receivers. Hope this helps! Erin
