Q: QuestionCan I connect xm radio to this receiver
Asked by BC.
- A:Answer The answer is yes. However the question was very general, so was the answer so let me rephrase - I do not have an xm radio, but if any radio has jacks to output sound to speakers, headphones, or similar you can use one of the several input methods in this system. Of course, it may take the right cord to do so, which means you will need to look at the pix out output jacks and see if your unit has any that that will match the stereo unit or is there a cord that will make the match for. If you look at the right place I am sure you could find a set of cords. Of course, if the radio has no external connections then the answer is a flat NO!

Q: QuestionWill this unit accept an external amp that has sub woofer running through it?
Asked by Buck.
- A:Answer I am assuming you want the subwoofer as the final amp so you can get those lows. But regardless, it is NEVER a good, fair, or bad idea to put two amps back to back. It is a terrible idea at best and a dangerous idea at worst. Amplifiers are designed to take a low input signal and increase it to higher output for speakers etc. First of this is that it is quite likely that the output impedance of your amp is very different from the input impedance of the other amp no matter which way you hook them up. This generally leads to poor quality signals (that means it will sound bad). Secondly, even if you send amp 1 output at a low level it will likely overdrive the input in amp 2 and if you are unlucky, you could blow some component in the input of amp 2, even if your amp 2 has a limiter, and you drive it too hard with a high-level signal for a long time you could overheat components that could pose a fire hazard. So it seems your best options would be- 1. add a special subwoofer driver to this amp, there are some jacks that have a suitable output level to do this, or 2. replace your existing subwoofer amp with a more powerful one.

Q: QuestionWould this Sony be a good choice to use to Power Up My Audio-Technica AT-LP120XSB TURNTABLE? iF NOT, WHA amplifier would you suggest? Thanks, Teeko
Asked by TEEKO.
- A:Answer I don't have or know of that specific turntable, but this system has an input jack for turntables and without looking it up I can't believe that there is not some industry standard on turntables, therefore this jack would meet these standards and make a very good connection to your turntable. I have never had the need to connect my turntable to this system but do not doubt that it would perform perfectly. If you are an audiophile that can't hack AD and DA conversions then you might have a problem with this, but if you don't know what that is or listen to music on your phone, or computer then this system will be suitable.

Q: QuestionWill a Klipsch R-100SW 10" subwoofer work on this receiver?
Asked by MrSunshine.
- A:Answer Hi MrSunshine, Thank you for your inquiry. The available inputs and outputs on the subwoofer will determine whether or not the subwoofer will be compatible with this receiver. Check the subwoofer to determine if it has IN and OUT speaker wire connections. If so, connect the left and right speaker wires from the stereo receiver into the left and right speaker IN on the subwoofer. Then, connect speaker wire from the left and right speaker OUT on the subwoofer to the left and right main speakers. If the subwoofer does not have IN and OUT speaker wire connections, then it will not be compatible with the stereo receiver. Hope this helps! -Sam

Q: QuestionCan I connect this receiver to Sony - SRS-XB12 Bluetooth Speakers?
Asked by les.
- A:Answer Not the answer you want but I’m not sure. It receives Bluetooth from my IPhone 7 and 11 perfectly, I just don’t think it transmits via Bluetooth. I have mine hard wired for a surround sound system which works great. I can also say that I have a turntable, dual cassette deck and five disc cd changer running thru this unit which all function & sound great. Good Value for the price. Hope this may have answered other questions you may have had.
