• A:Answer Hi Smud, The TP-Link TL-SG605P utilizes IEEE 802.3af/at to automatically detect and supply power to compliant PDs (Powered Devices) that also support 802.3af/at. Devices that do not support 802.3af/at technology will be detected as non-compliant, and the switch will not supply power to them.

Q: QuestionWhen power over ethernet is used, is the line sending power also able to negotiate gigabit ("Gigabit PoE"), or limited to traditional 100 megabit if powered over ethernet on that cable? Thank you!

Q: QuestionI have a POE device that says only use 24 volts and not to use with 48 volt POE. The power supply is labeled output of 53 volts. Does the switch set the voltage correctly depending on device plugged in? Or does this switch only supply 48 volts?
