QuestionI don't have a computer to register the extender. Will it work without it? Is it just plug & play? And is this compatible with Xfinity wifi that has 2.4 & 5.0 channels? I'm in a secluded area so firewall is not essential.

- Answer Yes, you can use the WPS setup option if your router supports this feature. Alternatively, you can use your smartphone and the TP-Link Tether app to set up and manage the extender conveniently from your phone.

- Answer Not sure about the question. The TP-Link AC750 just plug in to the wall or power extender. The WIFI extender is setup in wireless mode, no need cable at all. Sorry if I cannot answer your question.
