- Answer Yes you can still purchase the doorbell and also purchase smart doorbell install. They can install it regardless it runs off of wifi.

QuestionWe installed the nest hello ourselves. The camera works great but the doorbell chime on the main floor (the one we connected it to) does not work, but the chime in the basement does, and we often get phantom doorbell rings as well. Can Geek Squad help?

- Answer Yes sounds like a connection issue, I recommend calling Geek Squad to file a "repair" they'll assess it and send someone out.

QuestionI believe I need to have my transformer upgraded for the Nest Hello. Is that something you can do, I don’t think it will work with the one I have now, it’s too old. I’m trying to have one person do the whole thing. Thanks

- Answer No, I will not recommend geek squad to install your nest video doorbell. I recently had geek squad to come out to install my video nest doorbell, but they were not able to successfully installed my doorbell because they stated that I needed to upgrade my doorbell transformer and they are not able to do any upgrades and that I will need to get an electrician. Therefore I got Hellotech to come out and they were able to successfully installed my doorbell and I didn't need to upgrade my transformer.

- Answer I have the same issue, I installed the Ring 2 doorbell yesterday (not hard wired) no existing doorbell to replace. The Wifi will NOT connect. I tried hard booting three times and was up until 1:30 am installing and rebooting etc. tried again this morning and STILL won't connect to the wiFi. Computer's and phone connects. I don't have Cable only internet service. this answer to the question does not give the response if Geek Squad will connect the ring doorbell to the App. Please can you let me know if the wifi connectivity problem will be addressed. I fully charged the battery and installed the device, it's just not connecting. Spins white light and never connects.
