At first, I must admit I was very skeptical about the Shark robots vacuuming capabilities. After having it for a few months, I can honestly say it's the nest purchase I have ever made. It's unbelievable how much dust, hair, and anything else that it picks up. Makes my life and housecleaning a lot easier. Highly recommended!

The never stuck technology failed to realize it was basically bouncing on a dog log. I wasnt home so i didnt know to stop it. Anywho cleanup was so much fun we decided to forgo any of these robot cleaners until they learn not to track dog mess all over the house.

The Shark - Detect Pro Self-Empty Robot Vacuum with NeverStuck Technology has done a very good job at cleaning with a few minor hiccups. Unboxing and set up was pretty easy, I had no problem connecting to my mesh router. It did take a little longer than some other products (not vacuums necessarily) but eventually it connected through the app , registered and started mapping. It took two full runs to map my area. I did make it somewhat difficult with items placed where they were. I also cleared the map and removed obstacles, it mapped in one run just under 35 mins for about 900 sq ft. The mapping process did take two full runs, however I am using this upstairs and there is a lot of furniture and things to navigate. I purposely left some things lying around to see how it would handle them. Once it was mapped and those items were removed, it cleaned all those areas and spots. I also moved some furniture around and on subsequent runs it cleaned those areas once it sensed the items were no longer there. This is probably the quietest robot vacuum I have had to date, even on high power it is pretty quiet. Power settings are managed through the scheduling portion of the app. There are several limitations I find to be somewhat of a deal breaker depending on what you are looking for. You are not able to schedule this to run twice in a day. Although that may be overkill I have needed that to happen occasionally. You also cannot label rooms using free text, there are preloaded room names which you must use. Altering the map and creating "no go" zones is pretty simple, as is naming rooms. The app has all the other normal information and links for ordering supplies, assistance and support. To date, about two weeks of use, my unit has gotten stuck three times. Once was on the edge of a stair, once under a desk with a chair, and once in between the wall and a bed frame leg. I would say all in all it has done a pretty good job of not getting stuck, those were some difficult areas. As far as cleaning goes, even on the eco setting, the unit cleans hard surface and carpet adequately. The side brush does not spin on carpet so I anticipate corners on carpet will be a little messy. The self emptying feature is a great addition and I probably wouldn't get a vacuum without this from now on. All in all this is a solid robot vacuum and I would recommend.

Love it on my wood floors. Have a dog that sheds and have to to run 3days per week has cut way down on the dog hair I have to clean up

At first the machine worked very good but no it loses communication and won't follow the map that makes you upload to clean around the house

Picks up everything fine, comes in handy when out of town you can always vacuum your home

This vacuum is quite loud and gets stuck just as often as other vacuums, despite advertising otherwise. For the price, it’s not worth it—my old vacuum performs just as well and is much quieter
