    Geeek squad irritated my soul.

    Make sure you understand that when purchasing this that it is NOT as I was explained nor does it seem to be an available option at purchase of car stereo a replacement plan they WILL have you drive to whichever bestbuy they choose and all the person there will do at first is basic troubleshooting… after pressing the same reset button that I was told to press almost two weeks before wince I had to wait about 1.5 weeks for an available appointment for the man to press said reset button, he had me drive to the front of the store (I am disabled so walking from the installation in the back of the store wasn’t an option) so that they could tell me that they were going to ship my stereo system out to be repaired (even though the website still tracks it as an “in-store repair”) and that if it couldn’t be repaired they “possibly will replace it, and install it” whenever they have an appointment available… which is crazy because legit when I pulled up not one person was doing any work at all in the mobile installation section at the back of the building. So I am currently despite paying extra money to avoid this kind of situation, driving around with a hole in the middle of my console… but at least they’re trying to repair it and will possibly either return it to me and it was able to be repaired, and I think they’ll reinstall it, or they will replace it and install a new one as opposed to being out an extra $400 to just purchase a new one. The only person I felt like exhibited excellent customer service was the customer service guy not associated directly as a geek squad member. But the way the manager Aaron treated me especially as a “brother” sincerely leaves a lot to be desired… I was an understandably upset customer as well as a disabled Navy Veteran,

    I dislike the fact that i was not told that it needed a tuner for my sirius radio and i was lead to believe it came with it . Not happy at all

    Car stereo does not keep the time... I have called more than once trying to get an appointment to get this looked at since it was purchased and installed at Best Buy. I have not been able to get an appointment so far. The last time I called, I was on hold forever and then your computer system went down. Also the backup camera does not work because it is not hooked up.

    Weren’t helpful at all. I needed help with wiring my new system I bought through Best Buy. Paid the extra for geek squad protection. Not sure for what they haven’t helped me with anything and wanted to charge me another $300 to help with installing my stereo deck. Waste of money

    If you have a problem with your product, you can not get a replacement until the send it off for repair. There needs to be an in-house service tech to check out the problem, so you never have to go without.

      Hi Ivan – We do offer in-home service on certain categories of products, such as lager televisions and appliances. At this time we don’t offer that service on car electronics, but we really appreciate your feedback on the coverage.     Some managers will not exchange items even if the warranty covers it. They sometimes fix a problem but it will last for a week and then there is nothing they could do. They are always busy and sometimes can be rude.

    Impossible to get ahold of a human at least in my experience. Probably easier to just buy another item online where I live than pay the fuel to get to the nearest best buy that does repairs.

    Geek squad is slow

    It's been 3 weeks and my speakers are not back. It takes too long to get someone on the phone and when I do I keep getting transfered to other departments.
