Although it was challenging to purchase this service over the phone, (two separate phone calls at 45 minutes for each call because the reps were not familiar with installation packages), the technician who arrived was prompt, professional, quick with the setup of my Amazon Fire TV, (not a television but rather a streaming device), and showed me how to work the device. He even provided me with his cell phone # if I had any issues in the future. My advice; try and schedule this service for installation in a physical store, not over the phone. Once I got through 2 45-minute phone calls to purchase the service, I then had to call another person to actually schedule the service, (another 30-minute phone call). Again, pay for and schedule Geek Squad services at the Best Buy store, not over the phone.

I was a little hesitant about this based on comments I read here about terrible service. I had the opposite experience. The appointment scheduling wasn't ideal -- you really CAN'T schedule through your local Best Buy -- but from that point on it was excellent. I bought my TV in east Jefferson County/ Louisville and the installer came from southern Indiana. (Not that far from me, but interesting.) Zeke (may be Zach, sorry!) was great, patiently installed everything, asked me about add-ons such as DVD player, walked me through the process since this was my first smartTV AND first flat screen. He explained choices, offered advice, asked me about my usage to gauge my needs. AND was early, careful with furniture/walls etc., tidied up nicely and made sure I was fully happy with the install before he left. Couldn't have had a better experience.

The guys that came out to mount and install my TV above my brick fireplace and hook up the TV and Blu-Ray player were very nice and seemed knowledgeable. There was a lack of communication between the person who took my order by phone and the techs who actually came out to perform the work, but the techs were able to acquire the tools needed and an additional tech in a short period of time and get started. Overall I was happy with the service provided and couldn't have asked for more polite guys.

Professional. Informative. Helpful. Considerate. The team (one of whom was Javon Chandler) insured all work met the highest standards possible. They answered all questions and gave instructions on how everything worked, which was very helpful. They saved me considerable time and aggravation. The overall result is that the system looks and sounds fantastic! Great job!

We appreciate the professionalism of the installer, however the coordination of the services with your customer services staff was somewhat challenging. I am not sure why there was difficulty confirming the order, since it was already paid, but at least your personnel was pleasant throughout the transaction.

My Mom lives in another state and I bought her a new 43 " smart t.v. But since she has a back injury she can't lift etc. I purchased the set up service for my Mom and they were prompt,very courteous and kind to my Mom!! Excellent service and I would buy it for her in the future,she didn't have to do a thing and they even showed her how to use her new remote for the smart t.v.!! I highly recommend it!

If you have a lot of components in your entertainment system, believe me, there is no shame in getting a pro to hook it up for you! Especially if you're as old as I am, and technology has surpassed your ability to keep up. I had always been able to make anything work, but things have gotten so advanced now that I can't do it. These people do it all day every day, so they know how. Let them do it for you!

I was having a new tv and new TIVO box installed. Three technicians came to the house. All were polite and determined to get this system installed even though it meant long, long periods being on hold with Comcast and being persistent with Comcast until they had someone one the line who knew the answers to their questions. I was truly impressed. I've never had service technicians as good as these three. Thanks so much..

My Geek Squad Agent, John, was right on time. He moved the old TV to another room and reconnected it. He installed the new Smart TV and checked the Wi-Fi connectivity in the house. He showed me how to operate the Smart TV remote and my cable remote. He was a complete pleasure as he was efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous.

A major draw for going to Best Buy was that the Geeks would come and set it up. He came and did a great job. As it turned out I didn't have a cable (shame on you Best Buy website), but he had one in his van, so took care of me. He also pointed out that I didn't have HD with carrier, so I called them and set up the service. Without the Geeks this would not have worked out well.

The set up and connection was quick and easy, but we have noticed that the picture on the screen is not fitting within the screen when viewing on different media (DVD, streaming, etc.). We will need to get them to come out and readjust.

Hesitated on the service but ended up going for it. On time, and very helpful. Paid a bit extra for WiFi set up...which I had procrastinated doing for a few months! Did all the adjustments, including color and universal remote connection for three devices. Just say yes ;-) Time saved and frustration eliminated worth it!

The HDTV had a built-in chrome cast. They installed it. Showed me how to operate it. It looks great. They did a great job. Let my house clean, Took the package away. This is my third time using them. I wanted to post a picture but couldn't. I love the look.

I was very pleased with the HDTV installation by your Geek Squad representative. He called in advance of the appointment to sync with delivery of the TV from an online order, he knew his business, was very professional, answered all my questions and made sure I knew what he was doing and that I would know how to operate my machine.

We were extremely happy and satisfied with our Geek Squad specialist. He was prompt, professional and pleasant and our problems were solved to our complete satisfaction.

I had bought my 1st 4K Smart TV and I was worried I would not be able to set it up (WiFi). Since then I have set up 2. It is not that hard to do. Aggravating and time consuming, yes. But you can do it by following the instructions on the screen. The TV I bought was not designed to be wall-mounted (the HDMI ports were not side ports; one of them stuck straight out the back) and a good tech would have told me that the wiring was temporary and that there were HDMI adapters available to fix the problem. The wiring quit working after a week because The cable was bent.

The Technicians who came for the set-up, Brooks & David, were superb. They were very patient in explaing my options for the set-up. They gave me several options and answered all of my questions. They were very professional, polite, and most important,, efficent in setting up my TV. I love my new TV mount.

This was an easy installation but have physical limitations so needed to use the service. Even though it was easy enough, the Installer was very professional and thorough, giving complete advice about use of the new installed smart TV, as well as additional suggestions.

It went okay but was rather annoyed I had to take time off from work to have them come back as the first GS person didn't shut down the system and was unaware of the noise it made

I tried to install wall mounted TV and ran in to a problem. I called and got an appointment the very next day. The instillation team arrived reviewed the problem and instilled the TV in a matter of minutes.
