I've heard good things about the IPS Screen !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this monitor using the "Store Pickup" method after 9pm so I scooped it up the next day.I was currently buying parts piece by piece for a computer build since I no longer have a working PC, and can only afford one part a week so obviously I'm looking for the best deals. This was on sale ..I believe a "Deal of the day" item and using Price Zombie I saw BestBuy had it for the same as the lowest price advertised and I had a gift card so it was the time to buy. A few weeks go by and work is slow so I realize that I simply can not afford to build a complete PC and by the time it's built it will be obsolete. I decide to start looking at cheaper alternatives like Chromebooks and older tablets. I sell the 2 other parts and was going to sell the Monitor to a friend, and when he comes over to see it I open the box for the first time and see the bottom of the monitor frame has a curve to it, the plastic or the mold used had a problem so the screen is almost falling out. It was badly warped and the bezel was popped of because of it. I take it back to BestBuy 10 days after the 15 day return policy for store credit like I was told I could do, and when I get there customer service said "no problem" we can see the issue and everything was still in plastic. I give them the credit card I used and the cashier says he needs the managers approval to give me the in store credit gift card. "BRYCE" the so called manager tells me that this is a MANUFACTURERS DEFECT AND CAN"T EVEN GIVE ME STORE CREDIT FOR AN UNUSED ITEM ONLY 25 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. He refuses to talk about it and gets me a phone number and has a lower employee call. They say I can pay shipping to them and I'll get another one. I do not want another terrible product and since I used a gift card and cash I only paid $100 for it and shipping would be 25% the cost of the monitor I do not want. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I USED TO BUY ALL OF MY ELECTRONICS (IPod,2 TV's PlayStation,speakers etc.1st purchase in 1996) FROM BESTBUY AND WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A CHEAP LAPTOP WITH THE IN STORE CREDIT. Now I want nothing to do with they way they treat customers and will stick to buying from online stores that will pay for two way shippimg and have CHEAPER PRICES. I know you "Price Match" but not the COUPON CODE PRICES, or EMail Blast Specials, or the BUNDLE DEALS, or theMail in rebate offers, or the UNADVERTISED PRICES THAT YOU CAN ONLY SEE IN YOUR SHOPPING CART.etc I made my point Always Read the Brick and Mortor Store FINE PRINT because we all buy locally to support our communities and for the customer service you are supposed to get when a problem ensues but truthfully Online Stores Such as Amazon, NewEgg and MonoPrice don't even need sales associates to help lifelong customers in person to make for a pleasant and value driven shoppimg experience

Short lived joy

The picture was vibrant and clear initially. Excitement became disappointment when just 5 weeks after my purchase I turned the monitor on to find a splotch of bright colors consuming about 1 inch of space in the upper right hand corner of the screen. I continued working where it flickered a few times and then after 4 hours it changed to a lined screen of death. I was told it could not be fixed or replaced by best buy. Now the box it came in has a nicer picture.

So this monitor made me sick....

I bought it because it was on crazy sale same price as the 23 aoc model. I tested them side by side for quite some time and... I chose this Acer even though I thought the aoc was better. Well in just a few hours of normal gaming, go pro editing, and working I had motion sickness and a head ache. This hasn't happened to me since the days of good old crt tube screens, and back then it was no where as bad. The next day I went back to the monitor to make sure that it wasn't me going crazy and I got hit 2x as hard. It was so bad I had to miss work the next day... RETURNED.

We took it back for a new one, we had purchased the warranty, they agreed it wasn't working properly but said it would have to be sent in, which could take 3 to 4 weeks. Still no answer, but the 4 weeks are not up. Went down the road to purchase another TV (cheaper). Maybe they can fix this one. Maybe.

Returned it

This monitor will hook up to a VGA port, but every time my PC went into sleep mode this monitor defaulted back to looking for an HDMI connection, so I had to reset the input of the monitor to VGA mode again. Online help was the poorest I have ever seen. I returned it.

Acer must be going down hill!

We couldn't take it back to Best Buy so we had to call Acer who provided the address label to send it to for repairs. We needed a screen so we went back and purchased a HP monitor. I had an Acer computer/monitor once and it worked well for a long time.

Cannot adjust height

I never thought that a company would create a monitor which height cannot be adjusted. Stupid really. My husband was comfortable with the height sho we swapped monitors. Simpler than going to the hassle of boxing it up and returning it.

Red dots were bleeding through the picture and depending on what you were looking at there was a small amount of red or an overwhelming amount. Best Buy took the product back without any issue.

No SPEAKERS!!!

What a piece of junk...

Never Worked With Windstream Service

Horrible screen

Not good

screen controls don't work as stated-instructions

Cheap!

Poor product
