I was so excited to finally find this monitor in stock. I received my monitor and was blown away by the 120hz output of my PS5, and had around 3 hours of playtime before experiencing issues. I noticed that the monitor had issues with staying on a black screen when switching from 60 to 120hz. What started out as a few seconds quickly grew to ~45 seconds of a black screen. I called Acer support who informed me to complete the firmware update on the monitor and this would repair this issue. After following the install instructions posted online in their install guide on their website, the firmware update bricked my monitor and I was no longer able to turn it on. I have had to send it back for repair. Very disappointing for a $900 monitor to have these issues out of the box and minimal playtime. I wish Acer would do the right thing and send me a replacement, but for now, I am stuck without a monitor waiting for repair.

When you buy it it comes with $0 charged- $15 FREE software (nobody wants) and the employees tried to deduct it from the return and tried telling me it was a bundle. Monitor was 899.99+ tax = 953.99. Software wasn’t used, after a short fight they returned the useless stuff and also confirmed it wasn’t a bundle. Understood if I paid 914.99 +tax but that wasn’t the case.
Dead pixels upon unboxing and the games ps5 supports for 120hz aren’t there yet. Better off waiting for a price drop and hdmi 2.1 to become more universal along with the games that support 120hz. Also, response time isn’t located anywhere— it could have been my PC with bad latency but it was like 50ms+ at any given time. Buyer beware.

Worked great for almost 2 months. Dead pixel appeared, sent it for service and came back with dead pixels in different areas. Would expect way more for the price of this monitor.
