Good quality monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture. Works with standard VESA mounts. Compatible with DisplayPort. Built-in USB ports are handy. Blue light setting is is a nice touch for less eye strain. No power brick needed. Power supply built into monitor. Even on lowest brightness settings the monitor is still too bright. FreeSync capability is not recognized by my graphics card.

Great for gaming, Good bang for your buck!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought mine October of 2019 to replace a $1,200 LG Ultrawide that literally tried to light itself on fire. Never buying LG again. This monitor was meant to be a cheap & quick replacement & it's served me well in that respect. It's a TN so obviously not as much color accuracy & vibrancy as IPS monitors but with a little menu tweaking you can get it close enough. Freesync works great with my aging 1080ti and latest drivers. The lighting is quite even & bright. I'm actually thinking about buying another one & a proper IPS monitor for a solid but cheap triple monitor setup. If you're looking for a solid performer that gives you plenty of bang for your buck this monitor is perfect. This is a solid entry point into high refresh rate gaming but I wouldn't recommend it for productivity tasks such as art or staring at spreadsheets. That being said if you're doing a budget PC build or looking to save some money without sacrificing gaming performance this thing is 10/10!

It Does Everything Well, Except....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a week of Gaming, Web Design and Surfing the web, I can tell you this monitor is great. However, I would like to talk to you about the viewing angles, color reproduction and Freesync 1. Freesync 1 seems worthless. Does very little. Freesync 2 on the other hand is where it's at. Xbox One X does nothing with Freesync 1, it needs Freesync 2. This monitor did allow the Xbox One X to set the refresh rate to 120hz. However, with it on or off I could not see a difference. I then connected my old Asus VG278HE 144hz, it has no Freesync yet seems to perform smoother. Color richness, accuracy and reproduction was far better. On the new Acer I ran Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2, PUBG, Black Ops 2 on the PC. My experience was not better than my old Asus VG278HE. Color Reproduction was not good for me. Blacks were washed out, contrast and Brightness seemed to do very little. I realize this is a "gaming" monitor and we shouldn't expect 100% sRGB accuracy, but this is the worst I have seen in this price range even with the $50 discount. On your PC you would need a Freesync 2 monitor at 144hz and a Freesync 2 video card like the RX 580 etc to get that smooth buttery gaming experience you are looking for. The viewing angles for me were the worst thing about this monitor. If I needed to see a certain part of an image or a web page I would find myself leaning my head side to side just to get a better angle. I was also always adjusting and tilting it. With all that negativity don't get me wrong. Someone out there will love this monitor. For me, I may need to spend a few more dollars. Maybe a 24'', IPS, Glossy, 144hz, Freesync 2, Fully adjustable height and Tilt.

Best bang for your buck!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a custom high end gaming pc built and I went into Best Buy initially to look at a 2k monitor but needed to stay under a $300 budget (most of my cash went towards the build). As we all know, 2k-4k monitors aren't really cheap especially when paired with g-sync. I was reading about free sync and thought I'd look into it as well. I came across this Acer monitor. I was hesitant at first and I remember reading that games run better on 1080p with less stress on your graphics card. I bit the bullet and purchased this Acer. Its my first Acer and it does not disappoint. Its screen quality is amazing and playing games on it has been fluid. My only complaint is the speakers they advertise are not good at all. You can barely hear them. Purchase a pair of speakers or a soundbar. You will be happy with the near bezel-less display. Id say if you have $300 its worth every penny. And now that its on sale for $230 then you are really coming on top.

Solid Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor does all of the essentials for a fair price. Wish the color popped a bit more on it but the build quality is solid, the size is perfect and it was easy to set up. Still playing with the presets and color and contrast settings.

Good product, damaged arrival
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I just got this monitor two days ago. It is great. Good size, sleek looking. It is everything I expected. But upon arrival, it has a dead pixel almost directly in the center of the screen... so I have to stare at a red dot while I use it. I’ve tried contacting Best Buy, but they are flooded due to corona.

Easy to assemble, smooth as can be.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that this is my first monitor that I have ran at 144hz and it doesn't dissapoint. Right from the start it is a great experience with easy assembly and beautiful display. I see a lot of bad reviews about the color display and stuff, but personally I see no issues. I plugged and played and it has been just fine with display colors. Also, I would recommend turning off the FreeSync option if you are playing a first person shooter (just google how to do it). This monitor is compatible with NVIDIA graphics, BUT it is a monitor thst is optimized for AMD graphics cards, but will perform well on either platform. Would 100% recommend this monitor

Great monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use the monitor mostly for gaming. It’s mountable and I use to have it on a 3 mount arm but now I just have it on the stand. The games play only use 60 Hz but the monitor can go up to 144

Excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This clearly needs to be adjusted, when it is first used, but once adjusted, it can be noted that the quality, colors, Contrast and brightness improve almost 100%, which makes this Monitor the best of its category, I do not use for Games, but as it is good to enjoy the 144Hz that can produce this monitor, now remains to see if there will appear some Pixel Dead or other types of Problems, as it is the first time I buy an Acer monitor. I hope to enjoy good years ahead with no problems.

just plugged up so far so good!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.everything so far about this Monitor is good! I have one con about this product and i will get to that in a second but i got it at Best Buy today it was on sale for 220$ and i got the geek squad plan for 4 years for only 30$ put my total at 267$ counting tax! not bad at all especially for what you're getting! my only con about this Monitor is the bottom strip/panel that has the Acer brand name on it at the very bottom left and right side it seems uneven or kind of off track i don't know if this is normal i don't think it is but other than that it's a great Monitor I switched from a regular 32 inch TV Samsung 60hz so i definitely upgraded!

Was a great monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only gave this a good for an overall rating for the simple reason that after four years or almost 4 years it decided to start acting up and I ended up having to get it replaced for the 299 325 price point it was a very very good monitor which is no longer available

Would purchase again.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge PC hardware buff and I approve for the price. It's only 1080p @27" can look a bit pixelated. Features are good and the quality seems to be okay. I had one pixel stuck green but i pressed it out in seconds and it has not come back. I see it's $50 cheaper the day after I bought it so Im heading to the store tomorrow to get my 50 bucks back.

Not actually 27", but still good quality 23"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor fully expecting a nice crisp 1080p at 27 inch, but measuring the screen itself only comes in at almost 24 inches. I'm returning it today because honestly my 27 inch AOC monitor was nice, the HDMI port just broke and I wanted a nice replacement, a 27 inch at 250 sounded amazing. But bringing it home and measuring it turned it out to be 23 inches, now not having those 3 extra inches is just making me feel like I'm losing out. Oh and the first product I got? Had a manufacturing error and I had to return it for another ( a metal piece was snapped off in the packaging, at the base connector), I didn't even get to realize how small the monitor was until I had gotten a second non-broken monitor! But I'll be fair to this thing, if you want a 23 inch monitor at 250, it's a decent pick up. Just work around with the settings because it's abysmal on its defaults. Has WAY more detail than my AOC and it's nice and smooth, but again; It's 24 inches at most, 23 at least, not 27. It's got low profile edges though so it's mostly screen but still gives you a nice hold if you want to pick it up and move it. I could not get the 1ms response time feature to work... so ... take it with a grain of salt, my computer and PS4 may just not support it. So I had to play at 2 or 3 MS, honestly I can't really tell response times unless it's 4 or above, would've been interesting to see what 1 MS is capable of. All in all, nice 23 inch, but is in no way 27 inches long, would not recommend this to a friend in the market for a 27 inch monitor.

Gave it a week before returning...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a hard core gamer and the stats/price clearly made this monitor an easy choice for me (ryzen/radeon build). Once you try a 144hz monitor, you will NEVER go back to anything less. The stand is very sturdy with excellent adjustability, and the screen size is perfect. The aiming reticle is a pretty useless novelty though- at least for me. Here's why I returned it- my monitor developed 7 stuck pixels (had 2 dead ones right off the bat) directly in my line of sight. I did try several programs to remove the stuck pixels with no luck (even swapped multiple display port cables). However, the reason I didn't bother getting another one is because after over a week of trying multiple settings and even using calibration software, I simply could not get a decent picture quality. My monitor always seemed to have a horrible white wash no matter what setting I tried. Also, trying to get a nice balance of sharpness, contrast, and brightness is impossible with this monitor thanks to limited picture adjustment settings. Yes, I am aware this is a TN panel, but I have had several other TN panels, that when properly calibrated, resulted in a picture quality that was almost as good as an IPS panel. 2 stars for a great stand and quality design. I would definitely wait for this monitor to be on sale!

Thought it would be better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this monitor for my PC and Switch. The colors always seem washed out and bland, even after I calibrated it several times. The construction of the monitor is great. It's sturdy and the stand is amazing, but that's not what we buy monitors for. I am past the return window and I really wish I wasn't. Wait for a MAJOR sale if you feel this is the one you definitely want. I wish I did

Fantastic Monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the monitor. Games looks absolutely amazing! Like the other reviews the only gripe is I had to force install a Windows 7 driver to get it running. If you don't its a little grabby or slow when playing a game.
