    The good: Small fits in a wallet, or attaches to the back of your phone. The bad: It attaches to your phone back so coins in your pocket can run down the battery. For more than the basic reading you have to pay a subscription. They pray on fear and try to get you to pay for consultations and advanced features. Privacy statement says they can sell your data to other parties. Needs to be less than 10 inches from your phone to get a good signal and connection. Recently purchased it hoping for a better resolution and ease of use for readings. I got an pulse rate warning from my watch, used the watch EKG and it showed Afib detected, I tried the Kardia, nope, you're fine. Checked my watch EKG again, it still showed Afib. Tried an older Omron monitor I have, it showed Afib. Tried the Kardia again, nope, normal sine. I have had this happen on two different occasions several days apart. The closest it came to any abnormal reading was unclassified. If I have symptoms and it shows on 2 other devices, but not this one, then it's a piece of crap that I don't want. Taking it back. I would not recommend it to anyone.

      Hi There, A subscription is not required to use the KardiaMobile with the Kardia app. Basic users who opt to not upgrade to KardiaCare still have the ability to detect and monitor basic arrhythmias using the included features in the Kardia App. KardiaCare is designed to help you get the most out of your Kardia device and provide you with deeper, more personalized insights about your heart health, but is not required to use the KardiaMobile and Kardia app.


      When you create a new account, AliveCor collects the following required information: name, email, date of birth, sex, smoking status, height, and weight. We use this information to ensure that only you have access to this account. Other information we collect when you create a new account are: activity level, medications and medical conditions. This information is good to have as a baseline to understand your current condition. This information is not required to access your account. If you are a Premium subscriber, we may collect other information you may input into Kardia, such as EKG recordings, blood pressure, resting heart rate and activity levels. If you are a connected patient to your physician, all of this information will be seen in your doctor’s Kardia Pro account for identification and to help your doctor manage your treatment.

      AliveCor does not resell any data we receive. AliveCor may use de-identified EKG recordings for future clinical research and feature improvements. All personal information is removed from a user’s EKG and stored on our secure and encrypted servers. alivecor

    Don’t know if it works or not, setting it up I discovered had to join network, $10 a month or $100 a year. Cardiologist didn’t recommend.

    We were not happy with ours. You have to pay a monthly bill to be able to send reports and you also have to purchase other gadgets for it to be really beneficial to have. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are ok with making quite an investment. We returned ours.

    Don’t buy this product it’s a horrible product! Every time you use it you get charged on your credit card! And it’s usually a lot more than they say it’s going to be! Total rip off not worth the money that you have to pay for it!

    While it does give readouts, it erroneously sent my husband to the ER. According to the readouts, his doctors told him to go to the ER, but nothing turned out to be wrong with him. The readouts should not be trusted.

    $85 for something that does not work consistently. Bestbuy knows what they are doing my making the return window for this just 15 days. Not enough time for you to know.

    Way too many hidden fees not revealed in the ads

    Fees & costs should be up front. Gave this as a gift and had no idea that this was so restricted with on going costs if you want to use the service. This is so sneaky. When you go online, it wants you to sign up for the service without revealing the hidden costs involved. I'm very sorry that I purchased this item.

    I tried for 2 days to get this to work but failed. I have an iPhone 8 and updated the iOS to 16.4. I replaced the battery in the Kardia. I got 1 second of partial response and then nothing. I returned it.

    This analyzed my EKG reading and came up with normal, possible afib and undetermined readings. I ended up seeing a cardiologist and wore a 48 hr monitor...no afib events just PACs. So i found it to be inaccurate and therefor useless. i returned it.

    We had to take ours back as it didn't want to always work It would work once than the next couple of times it wouldn't then again it would not sure what was wrong. Maybe just a lemon

    My wife is prone to an arrythmia condition called "bigemini" whereby every other beat is a "VPB". This has been diagnosed and treated by a cardiologist, but we wanted to be able monitor at home. When I tried my normal cardiac rhythm it showed a normal EKG, perfect. However, when my wife tried it, it showed a EKG that was almost completely flat, with just a little blip where there was probably a VPB. Since this would not show an accurate, readable EKG for her, it was worthless for us so we returned the unit. We should mention that we were not attempting to view EKG for the the conditions that the unit is specified to diagnose, like A-Fib. It's hard to say whether would recommend the unit since it may work very well for the conditions it specifies, but it didn't work for us.

    Very poor product. Does not work most of the time. I have tried all of the tips. When it does work, it says that it is unreadable and try again.

    Don't know how to set it up. You need to use an appand I have no idea how to do it and have no one to help me I asked when I was in the store and bought it and I was told that geek squad would have to do it but they were too busy and couldn't help me. This is a heart monitor that I need for health reasons. I am very unsatisfied
