In the right box this subwoofer performs better than any other I've tested in the price range. Sounds much cleaner than a kicker comp and can take about as much power.

I've looked for speakers for awile and found these beauties. I've had one of these 12 inch for about 6 months and now I have to have a pair. Great woofer deep bass

Speakers go boom. Hits really hard, low and clear. Good quality construction. Have 2 in .88 truck boxes standard cab f150. 300 watts each. Might add two more.

This sub handles the RMS power it claims and does net sell short when it comes to using it. I'm running two of these in two seperate very small .7cu ft boxes with polyfill and dear lord do these things hound. Paired with the alpine MRP-M500 these subs are being driven to their full potential. I had a 10" type R previously and man was I silly thinking 10's were comparable to 12's. I'll be in love with these subs till they blow; in which case I'll just return them for free new ones because Best Buy and alpine are awesome like that and offer 10$ warranties on each sub. No regrets. I miss my type R but not enough to pay for 1 what I did for these 2 Bass Lines. Hands down, 5 stars. I highly recommend these.

This sub hits hard and sounds great. I am going back to get one more.

We put two of these in the back of my son's mustang....sound good but took hours to find all the places that were vibrating. This needs a VERY GOOD amp to use it to the max. Cheap amps won't even drive this very well.

This speaker sounds great and is a good value for the money. However, I only had it for 3 weeks and it is blown already. I had my gains turned way down but I continue to get a grinding noise out if the speaker.

I purchased this Alpine SUB to go in my WRX. Very solid and tight low end from this sub, great value at this price and a name that just keep putting out great product!

Bass without the punch. in need of a quick solution and short on cash, this would fit the bill, but I would say save your money and get something better. this sub is not worth the price. this is Alpine extreme budget line. The Type s are decent performers for the price, i would look there instead of this.

Whith 250 watt rms in enclosed box produces nice base

sounds very good, but not the loudest. I like these subs a lot! they get the most from my amp. I drive them with a 1200w amp and it sounds great. easy setup ,I get a lot of compliments on this set of subs

Sub woofer has great sound. Disappointed it needed to be replaced early on.
