I purchased 2 replacement remotes for me and a family member. I didn’t realize we had different generation firesticks (1st gen & 2nd gen). The remote installed and worked PERFECTLY & quickly for the 2nd gen. And was an epic fail for the 1st gen- it wasn’t compatible, which I found out after 2+ hours of trying to get it to work. I wish it was easier to see and know which generation firestick it works with from the online descriptions :(.

Whats can I say?? It's the fire stick enough said. Very affordable and gets the job done if you are trying to move away from "the cord" to streaming. I have 4 of these in my home and it does a great job. Only had one small technical problem within the past 3 years of owning the FS and Amazon quickly resolved it.

This was a replacement remote that I purchased for my bedroom. This was an open box item so I was a little reluctant to purchase, but it worked out great . I was able to sync the remote to my television with ease. No problems with the remote at all

It was easily reprogramable and is working great since. Was pricy for just remote.

As someone who was reluctant to make the switch from cable television, the ease of adaptability the fire stick affords makes it a lot less scary. I expected learning how to navigate the world of streaming to be a lot more daunting, but in fact I was easily inducted inducted. I would and have recommended it others.

Adding a power and a volume button definitely adds more value to the Fire TV remote. But get it on sale or at a discount. A little overpriced at $30 in my opinion. All in all, it's your basic Fire TV voice remote with a power button and volume control. So if your Fire TV is the main way you enjoy TV, you now only need one remote.

This is our third 2nd gen Fire TV remote. I love that it controls everything, TV, soundbar, FireTV, in one little remote. So much simpler and easy for the kids and wife to use than the other big brand of remotes. We have one in the TV room, one in the bedroom, and this is our third because the dog ate one!

It's a great device. I love how easy it is to use and to set up. I break a lot of these because we drop them all the time. So it's a good thing they're not that expensive. But THIS time I bought the protective case and it's been over a month and I haven't broken this sucker yet!

We've bought 5 of the original fire sticks. We recently bought two of the new ones and are happy using them because it now has the volume control and a power button while still keeping all the prior features. Definitely the new fire stick is much better!

Ready to binge-watch a new series? Browsing for new movies? YouTube? The Firestick does it all and then some. Already thinking of purchasing a second one.
