Great movie for a great price. A definite purchase

This has always been one of my favorite movies. I saw it many times on VHS, so I decided to try the Bluray for great clarity. What I got was the great movie that I've always loved, but wide-screen so that it became a new and wondrous experience to see more on the left and right (VHS is formatted to fit a normal old-style TV screen). The wide-screen is awesome, as well as the audio clarity, but the extreme video clarity makes certain scenes a bit too jumpy. This was especially the case in the scene where Anya first comes into the old palace and the dancers come out of the windows. In the VHS, this is very smooth and elegant even though the dancers suddenly appear out of the windows. In this Bluray, the dancers practically explode from the windows and the smoothness is lost. So I dropped one star simply because the digital experience for this film is not quite as good as the VHS experience. But since finding a working VHS player is nearly impossible and digital is the way things are now, it is well worth it to get this movie just to be able to watch it at all, and the wide-screen is a definite plus.

This is a fantastic animated movie, and this combo pack was heavily discounted so I decided to pick it up. The movie was available on Netflix last I saw, but it won't be forever, and my only other copy of this is a VHS. I was somewhat disappointed to find that the digital copy included with this pack is not Ultraviolet and therefore harder to take on the go or download on the fly. It comes with a digital copy disc that seems to lead you through a download process from either iTunes or another path I did not take (Windows Media Player possibly?) It's in my iTunes account, which I think means I can download it on the fly still, but it's not stored with my UV/Disney library I access through the VUDU app, so it's a bit annoying to just have this one separate from all the others I own. All the same, it does work technically. This pack was affordable and it's a great movie so ultimately it was worth it still.

This is a good movie. Too bad the digital copy isn't one that allows you to watch via your tablet. It is a digital copy that you have to transfer from your PC and will require a DVD drive. Otherwise the movie is as good as it was years ago when it was in the movie theater. Good movie with a good story line. But prefer the digital copy that you get with Disney products cause it makes easier to watch right away.

This movies kinda old and I dont remember much about it. I was probably 8 years old when this movie came out. Movie was purchased online and shipped and delivered to my house in perfect condition. Awesome BestBuy!

This particular version is a nice copy of the movie. The only extras are subtitles (with the intention of helping kids learn to read). I am not sure I would want littler children to watch this movie because there is some scary, gory parts (well as gory as you can get in a cartoon). Otherwise I enjoy watching this movie.

A really enjoyable movie. Not recommended though if you really want to watch things HD. We played it on our HDTV and I think it's only half the screen big. Can't really blame it though since it's an old movie and they haven't reproduced any HD copy. Still recommend it especially for kids!

I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. Got it for myself when Best Buy had a sale. Already had a DVD version but wasn’t able to pass a good Blu-ray deal.

I've loved this movie ever since it came out. I was a little disappointed in the animation at first, but it seems to get better as the movie goes on. Either that or you just get used to it. The music and story line are great!

Updating the movie library for my daughter who asked for this for Christmas. She loves this movie and loves having this on blue ray, dvd and digital.

Anastasia was a pretty good movie. It is something that both kids and adults would enjoy. It is a love story filled with humor, drama, and evil villains; all that good stuff. Great movie and great buy! I recommend this.

I haven't seen this movie in over 15 years, so when I saw they had it on sale I jumped on it. Fun movie, the visuals were amazing, and in my opinion, some great songs. Overall great buy.

I didn't need this movie on a Blu-Ray, but my kids love this movie...so I bought this for the digital code - well worth it!

Since the Broadway Live version came out, I wanted to purchase this. In addition, it has a digital copy which allows you to use video streaming services.

Not the most mind blowing transfer when you compare it to other cartoon releases but still a decent watch.

New cover and slipcover aren’t beautiful as original but the content still the same. Good movie for the whole family.
