I am a fan of Paul Rudd. That man can do anything. Ant-Man isn't like the other movies in the Avenger series and I like that. Paul Rudd creates a very special character out of Ant-Man and it is very entertaining. There are several story lines that connect in this movie and it takes you on an incredible journey. Evangeline Lilly did a great job with the Wasp and I really like how they worked together and the witty exchanges they had. The supporting cast was great as well and I enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. Highly recommended!

Marvel has a hit on its hands with Antman and the Wasp. The Chemistry between the two characters is awesome. The movie has a right blend of action and comedy that makes Marvel Movies great. This is one of the vehicles though that has created a great supporting cast and kept with them whereas several of the other movies have introduced characters and then left them. Why this movie is important is the hypothesis that it sets up the Marvel Universe beyond the next Avengers Movie. If you want to get a possible glimpse of what happens next look here and see if maybe you can see where marvel is going.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: "Ant-Man and The Wasp." In the aftermath of "Captain America: Civil War," Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is a fun sequel that improves on the first, and manages to provide a much-needed dose of levity after the heaviness of Avengers: Infinity War. It’s a, well-paced, action-packed palette cleanser for the darkness of Infinity War, and I look forward to seeing where they take the characters next.

What can I say? Classic Marvel with great writing + great casting + obviously great special effects. If you like the original Ant Man, this one won't disappoint even slightly, which is often a struggle that a lot of movies run up against. Ant Man and The Wasp stands very equal and faithful to the original Ant Man and even exceeds it in many ways. If you're even a little bit of a Marvel fan, this is a sure bet.

This is a great movie, and continues the comedy from the 1st Ant-Man. Although it is not as main of a character as Iron Man or Thor, Ant-Man is a fun and exciting character that pleases the audience. Paul Rudd is a great cast for this role and delivers a string performance. If you are a fan of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) you should be sure to see this move. Side note, although this movie was physically released after Avengers: Infinity War, the events in this movie actually happen just BEFORE the events in Avengers: Infinity War.

Well not quite as entertaining as other entries in the Marvel cinematic universe, Ant-man and the wasp is not without its charm. While it would appear as though the director intends upon “dumbing down “our beloved hero to make him seem somewhat more affable, one can only imagine that the purpose of this is the only enhance the journey that we will see of the main character subsequent to infinity war. The special features are somewhat lacking in comparison to previous releases, but all in all, it is not a terrible second entry into the series.

Solid 4K offering from Disney and Marvel Studios

Once again Disney has offered up a solid 4K disc. Boasting a roaring Dolby Atmos track and HDR 10, this disc will offer up a nice showcase for those thinking of making the leap to the new formats. Ant Man and the Wasp isn't as well done as the original. This one feels rushed in the reveal of the villain and the motive behind their actions. However it does fill in the blanks in regards to why Ant Man wasn't involved in the attempted thwarting of Thanos in Infinity War. Still it has solid comedy moments and enough action to keep you engaged.

What a fun and slightly more lighthearted MCU film in the wake of the dark tone of Infinity War. Picking up where they left off at the end of the first film, addressing the cameo in Civil War and advancing the narrative, this movie is everything you want in a side plot marvel movie that still connects to the main story arc. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at this: If you've seen the other MCU films, this story enhances the series. If you haven't, you can still enjoy this movie with minimal need to question what is going on.

I was skeptical when Ant Man came out, I only watched it because of Evangeline Lilly, really like her, but after watching I was really entertained, the movie story was light but the action which keep your attention hooked, so it is just natural to anticipate the sequel.. this one did not disappoint, it is a very entertaining follow up..again the story does not make you ponder but it will definitely satisfy ...remember it is just a movie, do not question it, highly recommended for those times you just want to forget everything ..

Although I believe the extreme amount of CGI affected the characters' performances; such as subtle movements and lack of expressions that would be normal if actually interacting, took away from the "family/ friends" vibe, the movie still rocked! The introduction of the "Ghost" character, which, will hopefully become an anti-hero for the next "Infinity War" movie, was genius. Showing strength yet vunerability, and even awkwardness when interacting with the character Scott without her suit was incredible writing and I feel, acting.

While the original of this movie (and really any movie) is the best, Ant-Man and the Wasp is an action packed joy ride from start to finish. The battles and humor are top notch with really about any Marvel movie. While the quality is the same as other Disney/Marvel movies this upconverted 2K release looks great in HDR and sounds good with it's Atmos track. The included MoviesAnywhere code allows you to watch it anywhere.

The 2nd Ant-Man movie wasn't quite as well-received as some recent Marvel movies, but don't let that fool you. This is a very entertaining and well-made movie, and blissfully lighter than some of the studio's recent fare. Lot of heart and humor, some amazing effects, and just a great time all-around. Plenty of extras on the Blu-ray, too--including a great "gag reel" and a peak at how some of the film's effects were done. Definitely add this to your collection, but make sure you've seen "Avengers: Infinity War" first.

Why the Ant-Man films aren't more popular I don't understand. Sure, it was a tough sell (Ant-Man?) and the reason why he wasn't in the first phase, but this series is becoming the best and most enjoyable in the MSC. Wasp is fantastic. Great addition and my daughter loved her. This film has a great story, doesn't re-tread a story like a lot of sequels, has terrific characters and supporting cast, great action and lots of good comedy mixed together. Loved the ending-ending too. Can't wait to see these characters again.

I was unable to see this in theaters and saw Infinity War first. Buying this helped to complete our Marvel collection and I LOVED the movie!!! I like how it filled in the blanks for me as I wondered what happened with Antman. I loved seeing Wasp in action and was looking forward to it! I think the family chemistry is AMAZING and even though he started as a criminal, Scott is an amazing dad and his interactions with his daughter are heartwarming. It shows you can't judge a book by its cover. Great movie!

Obviously, everybody was waiting for Avengers: Infinity War, but, we were also curious to know what would happen after that. It was up to Ant-man and the Wasp to bring us back from those devastating events. It was also obvious that anything in comparison would seem diminished. But, if you give it a chance, you will see that this movie is as a larger than life adventure to awe and entertain everybody. The steelbook presentation is as big a collector's item as the movie. So it is highly recommended to get them both

Who would've thought we'd ever see not just an Ant-Man film, but one so good that it merited a sequel. Picking up in Lang's post-Civil War life we find him under the microscope while Hank and Hope are on the run. In a race against time the three re-unite on a long overdue rescue mission into the quantum realm. Again, films strengths lay in the great chemistry of the cast. Rudd, Lilly, and Douglas compliment each other well and Pena, T.I., and Dastmalchian have the same breezy charm from the first film. Peyton Reed again has fun using the scale of the shrinking tech for some great action scenes an visual gags. Unfortunately, the new antagonists are boring and don't bring much to the story. But as a fun adventure after the dour conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War it's worth seeing.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is the sequel to the kind of dull original Ant-Man film. I like Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly, but the writing for that first film was pretty lame. Anyway, with The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) as his partner (no longer an attractive secondary character), Ant-Man is back in business. Unlike the more serious Marvel films, there is a lot of humor and heart mixed in with thrilling "big and small" action sequences. Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, and Walton Goggins join the story in this film. All four are welcome additions. Ant-Man isn't necessarily going to save the world, but he is going to help his friends and family and do his best to safeguard the Ant-Man/Wasp technology from those who would misuse it.

Marvel has been vomiting diversity and the dumbing down of men for years, this one might even eclipse Wonder Woman (which I loved). Antman in an accidental hero in this sequel, sometimes to the bringing down of the entire movie. The second tier villains are laughable. I go to or buy movies to take 2 hours out of reality, and this one removes reality from reality. Paul Rudd and Michael Pena are and continue to be amazing. Evangeline Lilly's part was poorly written, and she came off as second tier, I liked her more in the first Antman. The phase shifting villian (Ava/Ghost) was pretty cool until she was weakened by her constant out of phase state. The movie was worth the admission, but is not in the top 10 of Marvel products (where Antman is in the top 5).

After the depressing ending of Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp was a welcome pallet cleanser. Once again the film feels like a minor MCU story, but elements set up in this film will likely have a big impact on Avengers: Endgame. The 4K looks and sounds amazing. The film comes with a digital copy that will at least be HD on iTunes or 4K in Vudu. Because it’s a Movies Anywhere title, one code unlocks a digital copy on Amazon, iTunes, Xbox, Vudu, FandangoNow, and Google Play.
