Works great for local NFL games

Works great in a basement in Chicago. It gets some distortion if you stand near it or move it. I have it mounted inside, near a window that no one will be near. I may mount to the exterior in the future but it works great where it is. It comes with an indoor stand, and an exterior mounting bracket. One important thing to note: it does not come with a coaxial cable that you 100% need to hook it up. At this price, it was a disappointment and caused me to make a second trip to the store. But now I have local access to watch Da Bears games with great clarity on my Samsung QLED. Subtracted 1 star for the lack of included cable.

Probably the best indoor antenna you can get. I get 43 channels. Unfortunately many are music/ religious/ PBS/ Latino/government and kids. Hung it high above my wall mounted bedroom tv. Doesn’t look bad.

I live out the boonies, and this antenna works great. My only issue with it is it should come with a coax cable. It does state on the box, that it doesn’t have coax. But most people don’t read the box. The sales person said it came with a short cable.

Very easy to set up and looks great. It was noticeably better than the old, cheapo antenna. I use it indoors so reception is not perfect. I wish there were more options for mounting indoors. Looks good!

Great If Want to Avoid Paying for Cable

I purchased this antenna because I was moving to Boston and into a 510 square foot studio apartment. The rent is almost $3,000 a month and the cable/internet package just wasn’t in the budget. My godparents recommended an antenna. I get multiple stations with this antenna — more than I expected actually. If you aren’t a huge TV person and you enjoy the basics (news stations like fox, cbs, nbc, etc) then this is a great option. Only disadvantage is that it needs to be close to a window in order to receive all the stations.

I was able catch the local broadcast stations. Without it, I only caught some stations. Sometimes when it’s windy or rainy, some channels get scrambled. Other than that it’s an excellent way to “cut cable” and watch TV for free.

I bought this antenna to save on monthly cable bills since I usually just watch basic cable TV shows and all my other subscriptions (Amazon, Hulu, Netflix). I was choosing between this and the "stick-on-the-wall" slim type of Antennas but in the end decided on this since it at that time, it claimed to have the most reception/capability amongst all its other brand competitors. Size wise, it is quite bulky, but not too bad. I hide it behind my TV so it doesn't bother me at all. You will have to download an app to help you find the right direction to face it, but overall, reception and quality of HD TV has never been better! This is worth it! Though humans as we are, you might still want more from the product. so ALWAYS do your research before making a purchase!

Better signal than indoor antenna I've tried

I mounted this one outside and am now able to get most digital tv channels. With some of the other (indoor) antennas I tried, I was constantly adjusting and still couldn't get many channels. Also, each tv required its own antenna. If you've ever had cable in your house, you can hook this up to the old cables and use one antenna for all the tvs in your home. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the one that reaches a bit farther -- this is the 60 mile range and there is a 70+ mile range -- but that's a future purchase.

My apartment unit is in a lower floor of a high rise building on the south side and the broadcasting towers are about 11 miles north. This antenna was able to pick up different UHF broadcasting stations depending on the placement, but never any one spot received them all. I may have had better success if I was on a higher level or in a unit on the north side of the building.

This is a good antenna that I purchased to cut the cable. I get 22 channels on a clear day but when it rains it varies. I was a little disappointed based on the reviews I had read that this was the best, but nonetheless, it does what it says and overall I am happy with free tv!

Decent construction, wasn't too hard to install. I installed it in my attic, which was a recommended installation location, so maybe that's why I'm not getting all the channels I could be getting, but I'm still getting a heck of a lot more channels than before and they come in very good reception.

It's a pretty good antenna. I use it indoors, so it took some work getting it situated, but it does the job well after that. It is quite pricey admittedly. Got mine on a sale.

Scans most channels in range. What it pulls in, it does a great job for those channels. No complaints, would buy again. Mount it as high as you can.

This works great for me, we needed another splitter because the old cable also controls the internet. We get ABC crystal clear and FOX 5 when its not raining. wish we got CBS which I was expecting but it did not come through. just need this as a backup when internet is down.

When we purchased this atenna, we expected to get 6-10 channels from it. The instilation went well and we were delighted that instead of a few, we got over 50 channels. We were visiting our family and had no idea that there were so mant stations in that area.

If you have a clear line of sight to the transmission towers this antenna will pull in everything that's available. Don't waste money on indoor antennas. Unlike analog TV, digital TV is either on or off. Interruptions to the signal will cause pixellated screens, frozen screens, or just cut out picture and sound completely. The upside is ghosts and other multipath interference are history. This antenna is good for local stations but don't expect anything more than about 35 miles regardless of any claims on the box. Make sure you mount it outside where it has a direct path to the towers; it is directional so you may need a pro to install it. Trees, electric power lines, buildings, and similar obstructions will cause a problem. I dropped cable and satellite years ago because I just don't watch that much TV and this antenna brings in over 60 local signals. It should be obvious, but do NOT expect anything that requires a descrambler or subscription. This antenna is for free, OVER THE AIR TV only.
