Needed a bunch for small pc's, it fit the bill for my needs.

very basic, but does the job! no usb port or other features at all!

I purchased 3 of these. After a little over a year I had to replace the battery on one of them. Luckily it was provided under warranty. Now I will need to get a new battery on a 2nd one. Fortunately, it's is still under warranty.

The APC Home Network Battery Backup is great as a battery backup when temporary power outages inevitably will occur. Imagine working on an important project from work or school and the power goes out. Even worse if you need the internet and the project can’t be completed over your smart phone or requires high-speed internet to upload or download. Well, with a backup battery you’re able to keep working until the power is restored. My backup battery arrived well packaged and was in good condition. It is sturdy, but not too heavy. It has a nice all black design. It has six outlets, which is plenty to plug in your entire home network and a couple extra so I connected my security cameras as well. Two of the sex outlets are surge protection outlets. It has two hours of backup power, depending on what you have connected, but that’s plenty enough power to hold you until the power is restored. You can also use it to power your cell phone and or laptop. Ironically, I never thought that I would have a real life situation to report with this back-up battery before I posted my review, but I did. I can’t make this up either. My APC Home Network Battery Backup arrived four or five days ago. I began to charge it for the required 24-hour period when suddenly we had a large fire in the area and it knocked out a lot of the power locally. But luckily for me my newly acquired backup battery was ready for action. The power was out for about 90 minutes, but my wireless router and modem had power so I was able to stay online. To be honest, I didn’t think I would actually need this so soon. I thought this would be something that I may need a couple times a year and that maybe once or twice this summer during one of these hot Cali days, but right on cue, the power went out and I saw the value of this right away. This is an affordable alternative to expensive backup batteries that require much more work. It’s better to be safe then sorry so place your order before you found yourself in need of one but without it.
