picture shows 6 outlets. Actual product has 3 outlets. Really needed those 6 outlets, its the reason I purchased it

While the title for this piece advertises it as a home network solution, due to its compact size & portability it can handle quite a few tasks around the house. I already have larger units for my pc/network; I have one installed for my den's led tv and cable box. This one is assigned to the bedroom flat panel. It's quite annoying when you get those short power blips that cause the cable box to reboot. This solves that problem, and also serves as additional protection against power spikes for my LED flat panel. It hides quite nicely behind the cable box and doesn't take up a lot of space. It does have its limitations vs larger units which have replaceable batteries, but to be honest, I've never bought a replacement as the cost is not that much less than simply purchasing a new unit. It also does not have a USB charging port that higher end units possess. That said, it performs perfectly for the task I've assigned to it, I'm not going to be annoyed anymore with a 5 minute cable box reboot, and have the comfort of knowing my not-so-cheap tv is protected with another level of surge protection.

I purchased this because I have a desktop computer that i wanted battery back up and surge protection. The battery back up doesn't even provide enough power to cover an electricity current interruption for less than 2 seconds. If the power even flickers I don't have to reset the clock on my microwave but the computer loses power and I have to reboot. I tried going through APC to get warranty service and apparently the 3 year warranty will allow me to buy a replacement product at a discount but I couldn't get an SKU number from their drop down box so I couldn't even see what a replacement would cost me. If you want to buy this inferior product spring for geek squad so that you can return it to Best Buy when it quits working in a year and you can trade up to a better product.

First experience with this model. It has performed okay but still monitoring how it recovers from repeated short duration power loss occurrences.

Circuit kicks out randomly for no reason, shutting down my computer.

Great for home use i do not recommended it for office.

Item description shows a usb cable which implies this is a managed ups. It is not managed. Does the job otherwise

I needed a UPS for my entertainment area, which includes a 55" TV, 3 TB NAS Drive, and an XBOX One S. It worked for maybe a couple hours but then started sounding an alarm. Now I can't sseem to get it to take even one item without it setting off the alarm. This is pretty disappointing because I have come to rely on APC UPS for quality and dependable functionality.

This product has never shown that it actually stores power for when my home loses power

We bought 5 of these in the past few months and three occasionally shut off on their own and causes the computers they're connected to shut down. I hate this new version and seems they've lowered the quality to increase profits. These are the last APC UPS we'll be getting. Our older ones are still running strong with just a battery changes.

The surge protector outlets are too close together. Need space between each outlet.

I put the important small stuff on this thing and it does the job

I had to trouble shoot the battery switch and shut down and reboot. Thus far it has been OK.

This is a simple power backup/surge unit meant for your network equipment, meaning that if you limit what is connected to it to your modem and router, your internet will outlast one that is backing up power-hungry things like PCs and TVs. I now have one for the network and a separate one for my security camera modules, and a separate one for the PC. This box isn't expensive or very big so it fits in the budget and the space. Easy setup and a BIG improvement in this model--you no longer have to pry open a battery cover and connect a red wire lead in a tight little spot when you set it up. Now you just pop a fuse in place and you're ready to turn it on and use it. I've had other brands, nothing outlasts or outperforms an APC box.

Don't waste your time or money, just get a better UPS.
