I use this UPS for my work and it gets the job done. It’s done its thing well during multiple power problems. If you’re using this with a regular PC, you’ll have 0 problems with using the PowerChute software to shutdown your PC. But if you’re using this with a server as I am, keep in mind this isn’t enterprise gear and APC doesn’t want you to use it like this, and it depends on the OS you’re running as to whether or not you can auto shutdown the box. The specs I chose this model for were efficiency and capacity. I found the monitoring features interesting and somewhat helpful in figuring out if I was buying the correct size. I was surprised by and really like the cooling fan which turns on when the power goes off. Since the other USPs were dieing from heat, I see that as a real plus. So far, very pleased with the purchase.

APC has always been a good brand for backup power. Had other brands but they often have trouble, many don't hold up to the surges or just stop backing up long before the batteries go bad.

Pretty awesome battery backup and I have a few of these for home to protect all my electronic Bestbuy items that I love so much!! I know I am protected and if something ever did fail I always opt to purchase the extra protection from Bestbuy. Get yours today!!

The front screen give you an estimate of time of power base of energy consumption, its goes from 120 to 124 minutes, our power outages last around 15 to 20 minutes, but even if longer, the back up battery will give enough time to save/close any important documents.

This thing keeps all of my electronics from power going out. Especially the computers, they don't like to be shut down without prodecure, black outs had destroyed many internal components already. So if you experience from black outs frequently, you need to get this!! You will get about 20 minutes when the power does go out on 2 monitors 1 pc setup. And if you just need it for the emergency internet router, that the 1000VA would be enough for about 4 hours.

This does its job. Purchased for my father in law to power his electric recliner in case of power. Lost power once since and it got him up and powered his phone charger.

I purchased for my son with a new computer. His last desktop was plugged into surge protector and died. I use this same model for my work computer and it does what its supposed to do. I recommend this product.

Does everything you would expect a battery backup to do. Easy to set up. Easy to install. Just plug it in and connect what you want to keep online. This is my 3 APC as I have so many different setups in my office. Would recommend.

We bought a new, expensive computer and wanted to protect it. Best Buy employees recommended this one, so bought it. Thus far, it was easy to set up and is working like a charm. However, we've not had a power surge so not sure of effectiveness yet.

I bought this UPS to protect my desk PC, mesh router system, and NAS. No issues with the device and it works as advertised. I like the display since it allows you to see voltage levels, keeping you in the know about power output and consumption.

I need a back up power source for my security cameras since power loss happens frequently, this bad boy will run my security system and router for about 120 minutes or 60 minutes with a monitor, very happy!

Works fine. No problem installing the unit or software. I like the energy usage feature in the software to let you know how much electricity the computer is using. I have another APC I bought six years ago and the battery is still going strong.

Very happy with this product. With so many family members working from home, keeping vital instruments such as modem and router powered on is essential. This product has already come in handy and I am sure will again in the future.

Works as expected and has already "survived" a couple of power outages with no issues. I've only bought APC for years now, except that one time which we'll just go ahead and forget about. Simply put they last and you can replace the batteries.

If you’re looking for a UPS that’s easy to setup, use and for keeping power on for your phones & laptops, this ones definitely a good choice. You may want to upgrade for higher capacity if you want more backup time & devices to be supported.

Very easy to install. We get a lot of power surges and outages at our house. I’ve only had it for about 3 weeks and there haven’t been any outages yet. However, there was a power surge a week ago and it kept my computer system running.

I really like the display on this unit. Worth a few extra dollars to be able to very quickly see how much is connected as compared to full capacity and how much battery is left. I bought three of these to use all over the house.

Bought to replace a smaller 300watt unit that finally died. Its just running my cable modem, router and switch in the event of power outages and should be able to hold for at least a couple of hours, or until I get my generator running.

Battery backup keeps TV and DVR from powering off when the power goes out. I have a generator that comes on automatically after a minute and this battery backup allows whatever device you have plugged into it to keep operating during that time.

Good unit for basic pc protection. I bought this and setup was very easy.
