Accompanying software is super nice. Had a 350 for over 10 years and it's still going strong...APC makes good products. Tested backup capacity and it exceed what I was expecting based on the tool from their website. P.S. I have it behind a Panamax bubble so I can't comment on surge capability.

Unacceptably Loud Coil/Charging Whine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We swear by these APC UPS of all sizes at work so I figured picking one up for the home setup was a safe bet. Unfortunately as soon as I got it up and running I noticed it making a high-pitched whining noise. I assumed this would stop at some point, perhaps once the battery charged fully, but no. The whole time this unit is on it sounds like an annoying cricket out in the yard. And it isn't a faint whine. I can hear it over my case fans, AC, ceiling fan and even slightly with earbuds in. As a result I can't use this at all. I've read online it's a fairly common issue but not all units have it. So I still recommend giving one of these a shot. I'm just not playing exchange roulette myself. I'll probably swap this for another brand. Just keep it in mind if you're going to buy one for a quiet environment.

I keep the wifi plugged into this and I get a few hours of extra internet whenever the power goes out. Also, it protects your devices from all the dang power surges.
