Right size UPS

I downsized from my previous UPS after doing a load analysis and accepting that the UPS is only needed for a clean shut-down. When the power is lost, I'll close my programs and shut-down the computer.

Just the right size

It has plug slots for my monitors and speakers, too. I look forward to a long life of protecting my equipment from the power surges or outages. This winter might be a good test.

Good UPS power back up!

Battery Backup

Handy for WiFi backup power

I also have a another battery backup unit on my fiber optic modem in the my garage. As a result, the internet usually doesn't go down during most power outages. That's handy. If the Xbox is running when the power goes out, I have time to shut it down safely using the power button, and then I can just let it power the router alone.

Keeps my Internet up through storms.

Soon after setup there was a local electrical power issue with the power dropping out about 50 times in 3 hours. This kept the internet and WIFI working and allowed the TVs (ATT) to quickly recover since there was no loss of signal.
